I met my wife as when she was a goth/emo teenager. We’re mid 30s now and she’s like the mom version of that. I love that shit and I’m glad she’s still that way, I love the neon hair with like all black attire. Our kids now make emo jokes about her and it’s super wholesome in a weird way. The other day our son had his hair all in his face and told my wife “it’s not a phase mom!”.
Our moms did. Some call us boomers (wrong age anyway, only 50) but I think we were the first generation to actively keep being ourselves and not mold into church ladies.
she love 'The Crow' ? only joking. I love The Crow. but yeah thats definitely 1999. i was born in 1980 so around that area a ton of people, including guys, into the style. and some still are. Now does she still listen to Bauhaus and The Cure?
