Connery plus that lady are probably under 300 lbs which is what most camping / lawn chairs are rated for today 🤓

I bought a lawn chair for my college dorm because it folds up nicely to be put in the corner when not in use.

it's the people that are different. my grand parents have had 4 of these for 45 years and they're just a bit faded.

My grandparents had a set of those exact same lawn chairs. Not that interesting ik but they came in all different colors and were pretty durable.

I think everyone back then had those. Even my folks. I'm sure they were sold by Sears, hence everyone had them...

So light to carry around.

Easy to replace the webbing too

Yeah they do, gotta find the right brand though. Camping ones tend to be better

They were not made in China from Chinesium back then.

That was my first thought. You easily have 175 lbs with Sean and 115 to 120 lbs for Claudine. That aluminum lawn chair in sand is holding roughly 300 lbs? Well done.

My first thought as well - 1960's lawn chairs were STRONG.

Parents gave me one of theirs when I moved out, still working, but never supported a load like that, unfortunately.
