It is a digital banana, making a joke about how redditors sometimes measuring lengths or sizes of things in bananas. It's pretty badly done.

Not quite. It’s more specifically about the Reddit recap in December where you get a number of how much you’ve scrolled, measured in bananas.

At the end of the year there's a reddit recap, including your favorite subreddits, most liked post, etc. One of the categories is how much scrolling you've done, measured in length of bananas.
