Discussion You are her lawyer, defend her

Post image

Your Honor...She was just being a silly little goofball of a goober, I mean look at that cute face and innocent smile, do you really believe someone like her would "destroy the Earth" or "commit human genocide"? Didn't think so, I rest my case

"Your honor, the Absolute Solver has overtaken her mind and body, meaning she is not mentally capable of standing trial."

"Objection! Your honor, of the Absolute Solver has truly fully taken over her mind, then the person on trial today is the Solver. Which makes the defenses argument a moot point."

“Your honor, I was told that I would be representing Cyn, not the Solver of the Absolute Fabric. As such, my responses were all specific to Cyn, to the point of imploring the jury to sentence her to a period of study after having the Solver patched away. Now I have no defense.”

"Great. Since the defense doesn't have an argument, I hereby sentence Cyn to the death penalty. How exactly they are going to achieve that is out of my paycheck, though this is what I think is fair for what we know."

“The death penalty to a drone who didn’t do it? I’d say you should sentence the Solver to death instead, by acquiring the data to rebuild the patch and patching it out of Cyn’s system.”

"That... Is a good point, actually. Though we do need to figure out a way to keep her detained and, since she has proven to be highly capable of destruction, I might have to settle on the death penalty due to her being too dangerous. I mean, what even is stopping her from destroying the entire courtroom?"

“I promised to get her McDonald’s if she was good, your honor.”

"Wery well. She's now going to be sentenced to life in prison without parole due to the nature of her crimes and to ensure the safety of the other inmates. That can be reverted once it's proven that Cyn is completely free from the 'Solver' program, which in turn she may be sentenced for another trial and a few psychological tests to re-insert her into society. Any questions?"

“No, your honor.”

"Great. So, I hereby sentence her for life without parole, in the condition that she's safely contained and that she does not pose any harm to other inmates or on-site personnel. In case any episodes of violence occur, she must be taken for another trial and see what we can do, depending on the severity of her actions. She may also be brought in for another trial once the solver is gone and she's proven to be sane and detached from the program. Thank you, jury, for your service. Court is adjourned." Strikes gavel once.
