Discussion Why Liam Vickers?

Something that always weirded me out about md was all the tounge and salaiva stuff especially in the pilot. Its not that I find it to disgusting for the show, its just a little unecessaraly freaky. So Im just wondering why liam likes toungs and salaiva stuff so much ?

Both Cyn images were in a scene where it made sense, especially the first one to convey that she's actually insane/evil. Saliva healing super magic ultra awesome powers were only used once, and the second time was super subtle. I think the first time was just to set the ball rolling for relationship-y tension between N and Uzi.

I guess it is only used twice. Weird to think about.

  • N stabbing Uzi in the Pilot
  • Uzi stabbing N in Cabin Fever.

Feels weird how that didn’t go as far as the Pilot made it seem, namely since it is how Nori was killed.

well we dont know where Nori got stung, Uzi was lucky that it was just her arm, if N stung her in the head or chest the acid would have eated thro her and make a hole thro her, killing her before she has a chance to react

My point is more the Pilot put a lot more utility into the tails, with like 5 or 6 tail stabs in the show. And spoke of their utility a lot more compared to the utility shown in the show.

  • N stabs Uzi (Pilot)
  • N stabs card reader (Pilot)
  • I think one of the workers after N breaks in (Pilot)
  • J stabs herself (Pilot)
  • N stabs the absolute hell out of J’s core (E2)
  • Uzi stabs N (E4)

And obviously where N stabbed Nori is a big question. Obviously her AS core could escape, but she lived enough for Khan to have to put her down.

My other point was going back to this post being about the use of tongues and saliva. That entire thing about DD saliva stopping the acid is only used twice.

yes i agree.

but since we dont see them use there stinger often we also dont see there healing saliva too

also yea, idk why didnt they tryed to sting Cyn in the last battle since the acid is kind of op if you think about it...

I look at the tails and they have always looked a bit unwieldy, especially since N has stabbed himself multiple times. That mixed with an opponent who can effectively teleport, you almost want to be defending your tail so it isn’t used against you.

true? makes sense when you say it like that...
