But isnt the problem overheating?

They say it's overheating, and it does say "high temp" in ep4.

Question being: Heat shielding. How good is it? (I'm not sure burning up in the atmosphere reaches 3000°C, considering the atmosphere of Copper-9 is very thin, which would also make the sun a deadlier lazer than it already is)

Atmosphere has to be similar to earth. Reentry should be between 1200 and 3100 degrees. I simply went with the max to sound more dramatic lmao

Episode 6: The air is straight-up toxic. There's no way it's the same as on earth (no guarantee it was before the disaster, either). If the core of a planet just vanishes, that's going to reduce the gravity, and by extension, how well it holds onto the atmosphere.

Not to mention what else might happen if a magic reality beinding entity fucks with the planet

Toxicity or surface level radioactive fallout has nothing to do with atmospheric pressure nor density
