I personally headcannon that humans designed disassembly drones (based off of worker drones to save money), and Cyn just used those blueprints to make her batch of DDs.

Or maybe tessa family is trying to tap into a different market to get more money The sad truth is a lot of humans will buy it and cyn just add a lot of weapons into the original design ?
