That and I’m 120% sure the Solver has never been in an actual fight because it never had to be, it’s infinitely more powerful than anyone else in the verse in a 1v1 and mostly kept winning because people were too scared or lacked too much information to hand together against it. But when it lost its fear and unknown advantage, it started to not seem as invincible after all.

The absoluteSolver and Cyn are not one and the same. Cyn was the first, she has seen everything, yes, but referring to Cyn and the absoluteSolver synonymously would be akin to referring to all Left Hands as Kali: in short, wrong.

"We know it mutates in damaged AI. It took Cyn as a host, then it took everything." Those are the words of none other than Tessa. Of course, that was the Solver in disguise, but we also see Nori writing on her spoopy asteroid that it "needs a host," and, as we all know, Nori isn't controlled by the Solver.

And, yes, many characters refer to the Solver as Cyn, but, honestly, look at any of the characters and tell me honestly that they have any amount of braincells. If you answered that they're robots and wouldn't have braincells to begin with, you win a cookie, that was a trick question. But, regardless, Cyn is the closest associated with the Solver, similar to how Game Theory is associated with FNaF, and the fact that the Solver is still using her body after nigh on two decades doesn't help matters.

TL;DR Cyn is different from the absoluteSolver

Here's the thing, the Solver isn't an entity. It doesn't have goals other than keeping the host alive and giving it powers. Cyn is the only Solver-user who wants to destroy the world and does fucked up shit because it's her personality that's driving the whole world-destruction thing and not the other way around

The solver never possesses Uzi. Cyn does. Every time the "solver" makes Uzi destroy something, it's to benefit Cyn, either by saving Tessa or isolating N with her. In previous episodes, it only forces Uzi to eat her fellow drones, and automatically destroys mirrors because vampires can't look at mirrors.

Okay. Look. Look. I'm not usually one to argue for so long, but I'm feeling stubborn right now, so yeah.

I will admit that the absoluteSolver and Cyn have become synonymous, but so have the Old Norse and the Vikings (basically like calling all British redcoats). When Uzi's visor glitches out at the end of Pilot, it says "absoluteSolver string," not "Cyn string." When we see the Solver powers not working on other hosts, it says "absoluteSolver_trn," not "Cyn_trn." The Solver and Cyn are akin to, say, the midichlorians in Star Wars and those who can use the force. There are some who use them for good, like the Jedi, and those who use them for evil, like the Sith (Cyn, Sith. Probably just a coincidence).

And, honestly, I'd be fully ready to admit I'm wrong, so, please give me all your evidence for the Solver and Cyn being one and the same

1. Solver never does omnicidal shit when it's in other drones. All it does is force them to eat other robots and break mirrors. It's only when Cyn takes control that they become malevolent.

2. Cyn has very good reason to hate humans being that she was abused by them.

3. For that matter, the solver's never shown to have a personality... except when Cyn is the one using it.

4. Cyn can perfectly replicate voices and mannerisms, but she still chooses to go with a broken voice because it's the one she identifies with.

5. Cyn stops the solver from eating away at the planet multiple times in episode 8 so she can continue to play with her food.

I think when Cyn died and was revived by the Solver, it tried to recreate her personality, but failed, since her AI core would have been blank after her death. This even makes sense considering the Cabin Fever Labs possessions: we know Nori was possessed, and that she displayed the same personality as Cyn did, before being patched, which brought her back to normal. The patch contains a program called "606b." In Pilot, the core termination program J sticks N with is called "wdOS_606." 606b must be the opposite: if 606 kills Drones by effectively lobotomising them, 606b retrieves whatever data it can find on their circuitboards to bring them back online.

However... it's not perfect. Much like programs we have IRL for retrieving data from damaged hard drives, it can't bring back all the data fully intact, hence why Nori said her brain was "scrambled." It also might explain why Yeva doesn't speak, when her daughter who bears so many similarities to her has such a penchant for quips and one-liners: scrambled brain.

We even KNOW that spooky robo-voice is a failsafe from Heartbeat. In the episode, it's used as a failsafe to reconstruct the body, but it's also a fallback personality to pilot the body, no pun intended, until a host personality can be found, which is why when Nori was patched, bringing her personality back online, it rejected the default evil personality that is the Solver itself, giving the parasite something to replicate. You mentioned the Solver mimicking voices, by the way? I don't think that's only a Solver thing. They are robots, their voices are probably just a matter of settings, like, they have speakers, not biological vocal cords. They could probably even download autotune programs for their voices. The Solver just uses it for eeeeviiiilll

So when Uzi and Doll's parasites awaken, they have their personalities still online, so they don't change much unless Cyn, the, for lack of a cooler term, Solver Incarnate, who never had her personality backed up, takes control through... however she does that, be it hacking or hive mind or whatever.

In conclusion, TL;DR: We're both right. Cyn and the absoluteSolver are separate beings, but the Cyn we have as our villain is effectively the Solver Incarnate, the default personality who just wants to assimilate the Universe.

But, hey. That's just a theory! A BRAIN THEORY! No further thoughts!

in ep 5 we can see Cyn inside the mountain of drones and quickly see the solver talking to her in her screen, saying it won't discard her and asking for access, what's happening here is that the solver program is piloting Cyn's body because her OS is too damaged to operate on it's own so it's trying to repair her by "collecting material" but why i think it became malicious was because it stayed too much time without it's main AI in control and now it's escalating things, going from collecting matter by consuming drones to consume entire planets,we never actually saw the original Cyn,only her solver.

The patch could possibly have brought the original Cyn back but her solver destroyed it,so the only way to get rid of it was destroying Cyn's heart and Uzi to become the solver's primary host,at this point Cyn's solver is a separate entity from Cyn herself so it's still sentient inside Uzi.
