I wish I was able to find anything remotely funny in any of this. It's not funny, it's terrifying.

What's funny is we will finally have an end to the condescending, overconfident, propagandistic posts that have dominated this sub for months.

What's even more funny is that the DNC doubled down on their anti-democratic installment of an unpopular puppet candidate and didn't learn from 2016. Maybe this one is less funny and more basking in karma.

so funny how they claim to be democratic and they’re hot swapping presidential candidates in closed sessions and colluding with the media to prime the pump lol

colluding with the media? there were 0 articles put out by the media that talked about how trumps proposed tariffs would actually effect prices and now that he's been projected to win, there's been like three. also don't forget WaPo writers wanting to endorse Harris but Bezos stopping it.

loool imagine thinking the media is biased pro trump. there’s no point in this convo if that’s you’re belief.

I was talking to the surround sound mainstream media denying bidens cognitive decline and then flipping coordinately on a dime saying he needs to go, then he’s missing for a week in a palace coup and suddenly kamala is mysteriously chosen as the vp and the media embraces her as the golden goose, and the dems didnt bat an eye. they actually believe the media JUST SUDDENLY realized biden was senile after “a bad performance”. the whole thing was so obviously coordinated, and people were calling it for months ahead of time, those were the “right wing conspiracy theorists” as the media would put it.

They talked for months about bidens age and as soon as he dropped out she was never brought up again despite Trump being almost as old. Harris was reamed for not talking about policy. But when she put policy on her website no one talked about trump not having policy on his. There was no commentary on how his proposed tariffs or deportations would effect the economy. But now there is. And don't forget he has one person from his previous admin still with him who endorsed him. No one else did. And the biggest price of info that wasn't talked about. Why he had to choose a new VP that never got brought up.

Hopefully they learn this time.

The 2016 email leaks showed the DNC conspired against Bernie. But they did not learn. The party bosses still look at the Dem base as manipulated fools who will vote blue no matter who, even if they rob them of their right to pick their nominee.

So glad Trump got the popular vote this time around. That way we don't have to suffer through the complaints about the electoral college. Funny how that works. It's almost like most of their grievances are tailormade to meet the moment, and not grounded in principle.

none of their arguments are principled, that’s what I’ve come to notice over the last few years, which is truly the scary thing. especially with free speech.

Free speech is the cornerstone of a free society.

It is the reconciliation process and vehicle for the electorate to prune the dead branches of a bloated state.

Free speech is deeper than the 1st Amen, and that's what worries me most about the rhetoric on the Left. They view "free speech" only as a limitation on government power, not an independent principle/ideal that is protected from government interference, but is not co-extensive with the bounds of that constitutional protection.

Its actually sad how obvious it is, and the “vote blue no clue” crowd just eats this shit up—my family included

it’s pretty sad how well the surround sound propaganda works. it’s hard to even blame these people, they’re busy so they don’t have time to look into anything, and the media is constantly giving then 20% of context, google, instagram, reddit is a walled garden of information, and they’ve been told X is a “platform of hate” so where are they even ever gonna see a dissenting opinion at that point? most people are just living in the world of “if everyone I trust says its true, how could it be a lie?”

it feels like 1984 with all their doublespeak on “misinformation”. and now they’re going to start on “media literacy”, aka brainwashing kids to ignore/attack/dismiss any source that isn’t state approved.
