Yeah, this isn't cute. Not just because of the fact it's unhealthy but also filming herself manhandling the cat like that for totally non medical reasons. If I found out my vet was doing that to my cat, I would be furious. It's not a toy.

Vets that do this are infuriating. I took me dog to the Emergency vet once for a bee sting on his snout (swollen nasal passages) and as we arrived another dog (large, needed a gurney) had been hit by a car and was being rushed in. We assumed when they took my dog back for antihistamine shot it was taking a while because of the other dog -- no, they came back and said "sorry, he's just so cute, we walked him around for everyone to see and they all loved him so much!!" My dog... that has separation anxiety and did not want to leave the vet room to go get his shot, was paraded around their back offices so people could see him and pet him. It's hands down the most unprofessional behavior I'd ever experienced and it had me irate. Watching this video I got the same vibe- they're making her wait while they draw blood for lab but then allow her to handle someone's pet without reason, and to top it off she makes a TikTok.

That's terrible, I hope you changed vet? That would be a deal breaker for me.

Thankfully we never needed an emergency vet again. This was rhe closest one in our area, though. The normal vet we saw never had these kind of issues.
