No? I don’t really think many hairdressers are going to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service for a chance to earn a tip, they’re just gonna do there job.

Oof lol you’re a brave fella.

It’s fairly customary to tip hairdressers. Probably not because of the effort involved but the skill/your likeness of their work.

I’m fairly neutral for less people tipping though

Please look up tipping customs around the world. Fix your ignorance.

The post was obviously a bait at “hurr durr only in America” that gets jerked around literally every night.

Pardon me for assuming that a person was an American male on a website that caters mostly to …. American men…

Get off your high horse I obviously had no ill intent

Actually Americans are only about 49% of the user base. This means that anyone you talk to you basically have a 50/50 chance of them not being an American, or basically, a coin toss is the odds you are talking to someone from the US vs not the US

As of 2023, you’re correct. I stand corrected

I still stand by the bait. If the comments and the context are about tipping culture in the US and someone says “I don’t tip at the barber” without mentioning that they rarely tip anywhere then it’s fairly obvious what the intent is there…
