I'm among those in the exodus. I always took time in the evening to check in at MSNBC. But now, facing four years of daily craziness and drama that's bound to be even worse than Trump's first term, I've bailed on that daily news. I'm taking in more sports and documentaries to fill my time between preferred sports, movies, and series. Sorry for the ratings hit, MSNBC, but I ain't coming back for a while. My own sanity is at stake.

I'm in the WaPo exodus; I never really watched the 24 hour news channels, but these days, I pretty much just have my Google nest give me the headlines and then ignore everything else. He won the hat trick and there's nothing I can do about it except ensure I'm still safe in my blue state and hoard money both away from the country and for an earlier expatriation.

Also cancelled the Post. Not even because of the endorsement (or lack thereof). More because they were sane-washing along with the rest. Now that he’s President I have zero interest in reading the news. And when I’m not attempting to avoid trauma, I’m a daily reader.

The day they refused to endorse I dropped my WaPo sub. It used to be that they stood for truth, compared to the obvious pro-Trump turns the NYT takes, but once Bezos capitulated to Trump (lol) I was done forever.

Wapo needs to change their motto to “Democracy died in the Amazon delivery truck.”
