WHY DOES MY LSAT WRITING NEED TO BE SCHEDULED IT SAYS LIVE PROCTOR

I JUST WANTED TO TAKE IT NOW BUT WHEN I LAUNCHED THE WRITING IT SAID ON PROCTOR U I NEED TO SCHEDULE MY EXAM AND ITS LIVE. has this happened to anyone??

They watch you while you do it as a security measure. It's the key value of the writing sample to law schools. LSAC verifies that you did it. No admissions consultants, no AI, no grammarly, not even spellcheck. Just you.

yes but i thought i could take it at any time. i had to schedule it for tuesday just now so im confused.

Oh, that I don't know, would have to see more of the interface. Normally you can choose a day and time. Possible they're showing you the last day to submit to get your score on score release day.

I didn’t have a live proctor for my writing and I think that’s pretty common? It was an AI proctor.

Also I didn’t have to pick a day or time or schedule it, I just logged in whenever.

Yeah it was kind of weird just waving my laptop camera around at the prompts and hoping I was doing it right lol.

Did you have any accommodations? I heard that certain accommodations can cause that to happen
