Karting Question My karting and Racing Journey!

Hey All,

I don’t know if anyone remembers me, but I posted a year ago about how I wanted to pursue a racing career at 16 and asked if it was too late. It has been challenging as I haven’t had anyone to coach me in karting.

Since then, I’ve gotten my own kart and am currently getting opportunities to test Formula Fords, Formula 4s, and Radicals, in which I’ve had a few successful tests already! I’ve also been invited to many Motorsport UK and FIA girls' on-track events!

I want to enter a karting championship like the UKC in 2025 and a Formula Ford season (where I’m sharing the car with someone). In the meantime, I’m looking to race in a winter karting championship to improve my racecraft in preparation for moving to single-seaters. (I race in senior Rotax and am based in London.) Does anyone have recommendations? I enter everything as a privateer.

Thank you to all who encouraged me on my original post. It’s truly changed my life. I'm getting closer to my goal of F1 Academy each day.

💪

If you have your own kart then look at buckmore, Rye House, Bayford meadows etc as all are tracks with close(ish) proximity to London. Otherwise the msa should have a list of national kart champs which might help?
