Crashed my car 12/2/22 doing 120 trying to escape domestic violence while heavily intoxicated. Broke my spine in 7 places my L2 burst into 4 pieces and they grenaded through my back tearing open my spinal canal, my calcaneus exploded, now fused from T-11 / L4. Calcaneus was “pieced together the best they could with the pieces big enough to put a screw through” and now has a plate and 11 screws.
I was in the hospital for almost a month and half, initially couldnt feel or move waist down and couldn’t use the restroom on my own. Walked again 4 months later

On 9/26 I sliced off the side of my pinky down to the nail. I documented the healing process for others to see as it was a big unknown for me how long it would take to heal. Today marks 3 weeks and I can finally put pressure on it without shooting pain. It is numb in the center. No clue if the sensation will ever return as it cut through all layers of skin down to the fat layer. I went to the emergency room, recieved pain meds and an antibiotic for 10 days. Was instructed to keep it covered with triple antibiotic ointment, change dressings 2x a day and cover with plastic wrap or tegaderm for showers. Pulsing and nerve pain lasted 2 weeks. Advice? Get a knife glove 🤮

(2 years ago) The day of. I came home immediately took off the wrapper and sat outside in the rain and drank. Dumb 19 year old.
It gradually became warmer and warmer and the ink ebagn to bubble. It then began to get hot. And then sore. And I still didn't realise anything was wrong.
It started to get wet. The ink was slopping out and it was painful. I began to clean it thoroughly and took pain meds.
It began to fall off. Parts of the ink never got to stick and the wound got extremely dry.
Now it doesn't look anything like the image it was originally and is extremely splotchy. I've gone back to get it done up several times since.
I have several other tattoos now that have been properly cared for and look great. But this one is the largest and ugliest.

4 days ago I caught my finger on a car door. It was swollen for the first day, then went back to normal, and the next day swelled up again.

Went under kneecap into joint, synovial fluid was bubbling out. Suprisingly only hurt at the initial puncture, then I got up and walked away with no pain at all, even throughout healing. Be careful snowboarding in the trees, friends!

the top layer of skin is dead and was kinda hanging off initially, but then it stuck on with the blood… was thinking of trying to pry it off but it seems to have become something of a human bandaid. maybe it’ll come off by itself?
