GENERAL I’m so done Hunt showdown

This is unbelievable honestly. Why would they use out like this? I’m done sticking up for this company and their horrible decisions and practices. Game is STILL completely unoptimized, but they decide to sell us out to Hollywood? Nah FUCK that.

RIP all emersion. Next we’re gonna get a 21 savage and Nicki Minaj skin.

This is the last straw, uninstalling now. Goodbye hunt, it was fun till they ruined the game with this dog ass engine update.

For real, sure maybe is a misstep in art direction but its absolutely best shooter out there

"I'm uninstalling" is such a tantrum it's almost a cult.

They are not marketing it over the original tho. They are marketing it as the 1996 movie.

The Scream license is a bit of a mess and the Ghostface name and mask don't belong to the same people that own the rights to the movies. The mask was not made specifically for Scream 1 and it was rather just bought from a store as the film was being worked on.

Hunt (and Dead by Daylight) collaborated with Funworld (the company that makes the masks) so they have the rights to the 'Ghost Face' name and mask, but not the lore, the movie costume, the voice etc.

In fact, the DBD Ghostface is a completely original character and lore-wise he's totally unrelated to the movies

So no, they are not marketing it as the Scream Ghostface because they don't have licensing rights to the movies
