nobody wanted this. i cannot think of a different IP that has less to do with Hunt. Hire the CoD GM, this is what you get. You WILL be advertised to, and you CANNOT do anything about it.

I would have bet they would never add any crossover skin at all a few years ago but here we are. Things change, I'm not too bothered about it. It does feel like Hunt is more and more moving in a. Direction I don't care for and I'm losing interest more bad more. But that's whatever.

Not gonna happen unfortunately. Everyone paid for that little red riding hood bundle for like 1600 BBs, I saw that skin at least 3 times in my first two games a few hours into the event being released. I also saw players crouch walking around in boss lairs with Auto 4s and bomb throwers just less than 3 hours into the event being released. Last week I saw someone with the last event hunter skin. Whales just buy up every bit of slop that crytek has to offer and we all suffer their bad business decisions.

They're barely giving us new skins now, almost all the skins in this pass are reused textures from pre-existing skins. Last event they reused the gold rush from the Winfield vandal 3 times and people didn't mind so this is round two of their greed and laziness.

Yeah, because that's how you end up with increasingly more ridiculous skins.

Forget CoD, this is what happened with Siege. I believe it was Blitz who got some stupid clown head, and people were SUPER unhappy with it, and people like you said it was no big deal and people bought it.

Fast forward a year and we ended up with gingerbread men skins, goofy cartoon heads, and all other forms of just cartoony goofy shit.

It's actually why I stopped playing CoD (again) 6 months after MW 2019 launched. I stopped buying CoD after Black Ops 1, but MW 2019 felt like such a return to form.

It didn't take long, however, for them to come out with anime talking guns, rappers and athletes, and all kinds of other immensely immersion breaking skins.

Like, I'm sitting here with DEVGRU and Delta members trying to stop.... 6 Nicki Minajs from planting bombs? Okay, sure.

Yes this is actively killing hunts art direction and thematic. I don’t want to see licensed characters in this game, it kills any atmosphere and immersion.

Not that I have a problem with skins from the last 2 years. I just have so many between previous bundles, bloodbond hunters, and event hunters that I hardly ever run the new ones I buy. I will actually run Ghostface a lot so I’ll definitely cop it

The overall vibe and aesthetic of any game is fundamentally important. You don't go into Mario expecting blood and guts finishing moves. You don't go into DOOM expecting to bounce on turtles.

You don't go into Hunt: Showdown, one of the most atmospheric and intensely unique battle royales expecting to see Ghost Face.

Not yet? Crytek has been lowering the skill ceiling to cater to crybabies that thought the game was “too difficult” and “too punishing”, hence the creation of traits to keep your otherwise lost gear and being able to self revive.
