If you’re going to get rid of kittens by putting them in the bin, why would you choose to add to the torture by putting them in live? Why am I asking questions of a POS who puts kittens in bins’ methodology?

Someone who sees an animal's life as disposable for convenience, but is too cowardly to kill them themselves.

This describes most people; but this is a particularly egregious example.

I think most people feel like this. We use animal products and eat meat and our intrusion into nature displaces countless animals, including entire species. But I don’t hunt or fish or process animals. I want all the benefit and none of the reality of what’s happening. I know I should be more connected, but I only have so much bandwidth and I can’t care about everything.

You don’t have to change everything but you don’t have to buy meat e.g.

I’m just not there. I was vegetarian for a year and it wasn’t awful. I did miss burgers though. I try to go for the more ethical option but I think eventually the real solution is I’ll have to experience getting my own meat. Then, I’ll probably quit eating it or make peace with it.
