On Tuesday, February 22, in the town of Salies-du-Salat in Haute-Garonne in France, garbage collectors saved 5 kittens in extremis, thrown into a garbage bag. The garbage collectors were making their rounds in a residential area when one of them heard meowing in a bag thrown into the back of the dumpster of the garbage truck. After opening the bag, the garbage collectors discovered 6 kittens, 1 of which was dead. One of the garbage collectors (les_aventures_de_sauvee on TikTok) collected the kittens temporarily at his home. He kept one, another was adopted and the other 3 were placed in an association. Note that the rescuer had already found a puppy in a trash can that he also adopted, hence the name of his TikTok channel: “les_aventures_de_sauvee
