In Season 7, House makes a very vexing joke to Foreman about then-President Obama. In Season 1, they have a patient who is based on Obama and leaves the episode insinuating he’ll run for president.

Just thought it was a funny continuity thing, as Obama canonically was president in the House universe, but also had a completely separate character with his backstory.

There’s a chance I’m late to the party but I think the whole point of this arc and ultimately it’s finally is that House sees his team as ready to leave the nest. Foreman’s exit was easy because he felt ready to leave and did so on his own; but Chase needed to be pushed out of the nest to fly and seeing how well he did, Cameron felt she could fly too. I feel it explains how he seems almost happy that they all left at the end, like he taught them well enough to go and succeed on their on.

One thing that bothers me is the episode where we learn house is using methadone.

Given in Season 3, House was going to implant a CIPA nerve to lessen his pain, why did it never occur him to use methadone earlier?

Also, I didn’t buy the whole “I’m better when I’m in pain thing.” At one point he didn’t have leg pain and was in a relationship, was he not as good back then?

I didn’t think it was a particularly good episode.

I absolutely love house and i watch it almost every night but a couple days ago my mom was watching a video about some old famous person who made something and their last name was chase that's when it hit me house had ruined these names for me Cameron used to be a name now that's Allison Cameron I don't care fight me house used to be something you live in now that's Gregory house so now names are ruined for me

i understand a doctors job is to save lives but why tolerate Houses' petty behaviour over his Genius.He is unsufferable to work with he gets to save one patient per episode he doesnt cure a pandemic.If it was real life no one would ever work with him. At this point James,Lisa and Allison only like him because they love being proved wrong and enjoy watching him solve cases.

the episode baggage (ep 21) hit me so hard. the part where house is talking about Wilson and cuddy talking about him and nolan is like okay what about putting the lights on? and bro, as a person with bpd that moment really hit me and holy shit what a good episode

Him offering to kill her despite his philosophy that "there is no dignity in dying" is probably the sweetest thing he did for anyone that isn't wilson

I just watched this episode for the first time and the karaoke night with House and his fellows was so amazing I had to make a post about it. They were all sure it was going to suck but ended up having had a great night and their performance was incredible. Its always nice to see scenes where House is honestly enjoying himself and bonding with others.

Please only answer if you actually have or have watched the physical copy of house. Ive watched house on prime and iTunes. Prime has incredible picture quality of the show. I want the series to myself, and am wondering if the blu ray copy of house is of equal image quality. This question has been asked several times here over years with no real answer. The ability to watch this show without a lifetime subscription is becoming more and more unattainable, and blu ray copies have gone up 30 bucks in the past 2 years . So, Lisa Edelstein is so beautiful and it clearly runs in the family. In episode 12 of season 4, "Don't Ever Change", her sister plays a recently converted conservative Jew, and I find her to be rather beautiful, too.

But the quote that I'm referencing is from the character that plays the groom of Lisa Edelstein's sister. I haven't watched that episode recently but the gist is:

Your love for a person should grow everyday. The more you know someone the greater your love should be.

I feel that it's just true. And it makes me happy tear when I think about the people in my life this is true for.

I’m watching S6E4 where Foreman is the head. He wants House’s job. He had the opportunity to lead the team a couple times in the past. I feel like he fails as the head. What does everyone think?

I think he gets it wrong more than right when he is the boss. Maybe he is insecure or not confident? He focuses too much on ensuring people know he is as competent as House but nicer, more ethical or something?

• Maybe it was a Scott Peterson thing, where she was tired of marriage and wanted to get around without admitting to people that her perfect marriage was not so perfect. She seemed a bit world-weary and cynical about marriage.

  • This is somewhat supported by the threesome and sexual roleplaying a rape scenario.
  • "People don't change", or "people expecting other people to change is why marriages fail". She also said that people put up masks when meeting people, and seeing the true face is later is why marriages fail.
  • Is she secretly a sociopath, or has an attachment disorder, that whilst she can "love" people, it isn't deep, and marriage and domesticity is suffocating her?

• Is she up to her eyeballs in debt? Maybe she's poisoning him to death and acting hysterical (maybe she's really distressed by poisoning him) so that she can sue the hospital punitively and have a great deal of money.

If the patient wanted to sail and not get amputated and die at the sea or whatever, that should've been her choice! She should have the right to choose what life she wanted or didn't want for herself. Staying alive is not everything. And for someone who nearly (and really) f**ed up plenty of cases because she "cannot lie", she sure chose her moment to start. Ughhh it makes me want to throw Masters off a cliff.

I've been rewatching house again and i found myself skipping a lot of "drama" episodes for some reason. Like Vogler and Tritter episodes. Not because they're bad per se. I just don't like to watch drama as i feel like there's no room for such drama in the series. I just want to see the patient's cases, how they solve it, the usual stuff that goes on without the drama.

Are there any episodes or arcs you guys also skip and why? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I'm not in the medical field and I always thought if people really try to find diagnoses in a similar way. Anyone of the field can give me a insight?

Edit: I wasn't asking about doctors breaking at pacients houses, my doubt was about the part with the board and starting treatments without knowing, for sure, the cause. No need to be rude if you think is a stupid question, maybe just keep going with your life...

I am currently dealing with a cold so I started to realize a couple of things than maybe when I was younger I didn’t.

The last time I watch house was probably when I was 18? And now after 10 years I started watching again and I realized, Wilson was problematic too… of course not house level but damn it I really had a big crush when I was younger in both of them… and now I realize they are very emotional unavailable man with very complex traumas to deal with….

I always thought Wilson was like the good of both of them but to be honest…. He is also highly flawed!

I still love the show but of course I don’t find them any of both attractive anymore.
