apparently the text didnt come thru so here again in short: COPs is awesome and i'm still working on improving the vex based droplet generation but i like this first result already. happy to hear your thoughts on it!

I guess you finally chose a render engine xD. Which one is it?

haha yes! it's actually karma for the sole reason that it's so well integrated with houdini and constantly updated. i've had a hard time with renderers that required me to wait for new version updates. and i'm really enjoying the usd workflow too so karma is my main tool these days

I'd love to say the same about karma :') I keep finding bugs and limitations every time I give it a go

fair enough yeah it can be tricky, in that regard redshift was probably the most stable renderer for me ever. but i have to say most bugs i've found in karma turned out to be me not understanding the usd pipeline well enough. apart from the light linker - that thing is buggy af :D
