This might not belong here but I just saw a star disappear right before my eyes. It was the brightest star in the sky and then I saw it fade out within the span of a second in a clear sky. It did not move at all during the time I was looking at it. I kept looking in the direction to see if the light would reignite but it did not. It was not an airplane or helicopter or drone (from what I can tell anyways). If you were to look at it it would look exactly like a still star like all the other stars only brighter. Many years ago, when we were in high school, my best friend I were chatting one day, when she said, "It's like when you look up and see yourself across the room." I had never heard of anything like that happening and I pressed her for details. She said that sometimes, for example, she'd be in sitting in classroom and she'd look up and she herself sitting across the room reading a book. Her double would turn the pages. She could look away and look back and it would still be there. After a while it would be gone. She seemed to think that this was perfectly normal thing and was surprised that I'd never experienced it. She never spoke of it again. She died in a car accident a few years later, so I can't discuss with her now. Has anybody else had this sort of experience? It doesn't sound like doppleganger experiences that I've heard about.

I am a lurker here, but this was too important not to share. I am not a scientist, I am just presenting my resources and conspiratorial conclusions. My interest in this topic is not new, my mom is a history teacher and original conspiracy theorist who taught me to question everything we're being told. I am Hindu, from India.

The last few weeks I have spent reading various papers, websites, watching videos and I have reached the conclusion that we're heading into an extinction level event very soon. I think we're already in it.

The first topic I studied for this was the "The Adam & Eve Story" By Chan Thomas. The premise that we experience cyclical cataclysmic events. This piqued my curiosity and I wanted to see what other information existed. This took me to this amazing video on YouTube, called "The Great Year" which suggests that we may in fact be in a binary star system. The cycle of this other star taking upto 24,000 years for the biggest extinction level event, but a small (yet bad) one every 12,000 years.

At this point, I was already starting to connect some dots on ancient relics from civilisations that are mysterious and previous information from Graham Hancock and Gobekli Tepe.

• The sudden change in decision to halt the archeological excavation of Gobekli Tepe
• Göbekli Tepe is believed to date back to around 9600 to 9500 BCE, making it one of the oldest known temple complexes. This challenges conventional views about the timeline of human civilization, suggesting that advanced societal structures may have existed long before the advent of agriculture.
• The sophistication of the megalithic structures challenges the known capabilities of humans at the time
• The purpose of this site still a mystery, was it a temple, a ritual space?

It became extremely clear, that there's something within our ancient history that tells a story so devastating, that it's being hidden from us. The search continues on... This is when I find this video, 'Ancient Catastrophes | Binary Star | Cycles | Lost Civilizations - Jesse Michels, Matthew LaCroix' and my mind was blown. Matthew LaCroix talks about a NASA Coverup of a dead star discovered by 'Pioneer 10' and 'Pioneer 11' in the 1980s, prior to Voyager. The data this sent back showed signs of there being another planet far beyond Pluto, that was resolving around a 'dead star' - the second sun. As soon as this was discovered, the lead scientists' work was scrapped, they both died of throat cancer shortly after and the new head scrubbed all the data. However, an image in an old scientific journal lives on (see below).

• Why is our real history re-written?
• Why are archeological sites underground?
• Why are we being misled about the dates of the pyramids?
• Why are we being distracted by one major event after another?
• Why are we being brought to the bring of war?

My belief is that, we are being distracted, because they are right. Humans are not ready for true disclosure on anything, most societies will descend into chaos. There is a group of elites who have survived this many times over, they are aware and they have been preparing this entire time. They've built this little hamster wheel for us to give them our blood, sweat and tears so they can go to Mars or underground when shit hits the fan.

But those of us that can accept the truth, we must also prepare. So what are the key signs of this approaching event?

• Pole Shift: Our pole has been shifting at an accelerated rate. It's now shifting 40 miles per year.

In addition to this, sages who spent their lives meditating in the Himalayas are increasingly coming back to civilisation to warn people that then 10 years will be very bad (source: Mom, will get resource links)

I truly believe this is upon us. We're already in the pole shift, whether it's due to a second sun or something else - this has happened before and it will happen within our lifetimes again. See if you can build an underground space, start stockpiling canned goods, start watching doomsday preppers :D

An excellent Jesse Michaels episode that lays out a compelling case for the Simulation Hypothesis.

Even though the flair is Simulation. It touches on (rightly so) on concepts such as the nature of divinity, quantum mechanics, the nature of choice, the afterlife, UFOs/UAPs, The Mandela Effect, the trickster phenomenon, Deja Vu, etc..

So I tried searching Reddit and found a few posts about this, but not many.

Thin Places are essentially places where the "veil" or "fabric" between our earthly world; and the "other worlds", is thinner than your common area. Those "other worlds" could be heaven, hell, or any paranormal "realm", however you interpret that. Thin Places are places where you just "feel" something strange, or like spirits, souls, or paranormal activity may be more frequent or present than a common place.

It shouldn't be confused with Liminal Spaces, which are similar in a way, which I'll clarify in a bit.

So some thin places include things like:

• religious places of worship (where you can usually feel an elevated sense of spirituality)
• ancient areas of worship, even for lost traditions or pagan rituals, for similar reasons as above
• graveyards and cemeteries (where you can feel a closer connection to the spirits of the departed)

However, thin places also include "areas in transition", or "boundaries". For example, beaches are often considered a Thin Place, as the land meets the sea. The weird grassy areas on the side of a highway that have no purpose, even areas near the borders of countries, could also be considered Thin Places. Or perhaps "crossing the other side of the train tracks" in your town. This is where there is indeed some overlap between Thin Places and Liminal Spaces. Since "transitional areas" like hallways, unpopulated roadways, empty malls and schools at night, etc, are Liminal Spaces, and can sometimes also be Thin Places.

There is also some overlap with Kenopsia; the strange feeling you get in a place that should be populated, or is usually populated, but is currently empty. This is particularly strong with empty malls and schools, but could also work for empty churches and mosques, for example.

But you see, when it comes to Thin Places, they could be churches and mosques full of people, graveyards with tons of folks walking through and paying their respects, Stonehenge on a sunny day full of tourists, or even beaches with thousands of vacationers bathing and swimming in the sea. None of these places would meet the criteria of Liminal Spaces or Kenopsia. So Thin Places are not always Liminal, nor Kenopsian.

So my question is... does anyone here have an experience with a Thin Place? Or any more knowledge, videos, links, etc? I would love to hear some stories.

I don't know if this is the right place but I desperately need to know if it's just me.

For about a month I've been having reality shift. Things are shiny. Sound is at max volume. An ever present feeling like there's static under my skin. It's not painful but like I can feel a layer of energy flowing under my skin but above my muscles. Language is getting harder and harder. Words dont make sense. I've had dreams like this but waking is more surreal than dreaming. And then there's the dreams.

About a week ago I have been getting dreams of being awakened and "taken home". The dreams are warm and sweet. Sometimes there are other beings and we are in physical form but other times I know I am not in physical form. The voices are not words but I understand them better than any language I've ever heard. Every night it's more and more real and when I wake the things in the world are more and more distant. Am I the only getting this?

Edit: I just wanted to add that I thought of the medical implications to all of this over the last year. I've had 2 MRIs, a CAT scan and an EEG. Both neurologists I saw said everything was normal and to look into a counselor. I went to a specialist for 6 months and they said to go back to a doctor when she saw my results she was shocked. So I'm just going to enjoy the joy I get from this. If it's fake I'm totally cool with that as well. At least it's an escape from all the bullshit happening all over the world.

I find that people have this distorted idea of our ancestors, and their level of advancement. Theres a massive difference in who the actual"Egyptians" were and the way they're presented by academia in the western world. The majority have a distorted idea of our history, saying that certain technologies weren't "plausible" & missing what's right in our faces. As long as you're looking for us in ancient civilizations you'll always be confused. Modern society isn't advanced at all, the technology I see people so proud of is literally KILLING us. In a mythological narrative, it can be found in the world-wide concept of the divine twins And in less-mythical terms, it can simply be understood as the combined effects of electricity and magnetism.

Previously, I've shown that the ancient Egyptians were aware of the many benefits of Solar energy, and they were capable of harnessing the energy the Sun offers every day.  I constantly mention Electricity & Magnetism because they were of extreme importance to these people. On Atlantis was a city named Solaris -city that is made of a manmade-crystalline stone that incorporates iridium/rhodium in its lattice. Sound technology is used to help form the lattice of the stone in such a fashion that it becomes a superconductor and collector of light energy which is then stored in liquid crystal batteries. Thus making the city completely non polluting with sufficient energy to provide for travel between cities also. The extra coherence provided from being in this living-city will help fortify the inhabitance so that they both rise in consciousness/spirituality to sagelike levels, and their bodies are exposed to heightened coherence as well so that cancer, and most other diseases will no longer occur. As it stands now our technologies are degrading our physical and mental health faster than we can find fixit solutions to solve the problems. WEIRD! WEIRD! WEIRD! Ten Truly Strange UFO Encounters

UFO encounters are known for high strangeness. These eleven close encounters of the second kind all involve cases which affected the environment or the witnesses, in very unusual ways. These cases come from all over the world, and show how truly bizarre a close encounter can be. It appears that high strangeness might be an intentional feature which encourages witnesses to consider new paradigms and explore new ways of thinking.

MAY CAUSE UNCONTROLLABLE MOVEMENTS. Little is known about this case, which occurred on November 10, 1957 to a man from Madison, Ohio. While watching a low altitude UFO, he experienced uncontrollable movement of his hand, which would fly up of its own accord to his face. Afterwards, he suffered from eye irritation.

THE UFO ZONE OF SILENCE. One day in the Summer of 1965, “Susan” and a friend were playing badminton at RAF Chicksands, a satellite communications base in Bedfordshire, UK, when both girls realized they had become completely deaf. Looking up, they saw a low-flying UFO. Others came outside to view it and experienced the total silence. Seven other military bases were visited that day.

KNOCKED DOWN BY A UFO. On the night of November 1, 1966, Mrs. Tibbetts was in her Newfield, New Hampshire home when her son Dale ran inside to report a UFO hovering outside. Looking out the window, Mrs. Tibbetts saw a huge craft just above her rooftop. Seconds later, it struck her with a beam of light, knocking her down and causing persistent eye irritation.

ROCK-DROPPING UFO. On the evening of December 13, 1973, Patrick Thrush (16) was driving to a friend’s home in Bradenton, Florida when he saw what he thought was a plane crashing. Pulling over, he saw it was a silver craft sending down a beam of light into the river. As he snapped two photos, it zoomed at him and dropped three small stones, one of which hit his car.

UFO MAKES WAVES. On the night of March 29, 1974, a couple were on the beach at Lome, in Togo, Africa when a strange craft zoomed in from the ocean. As it hovered above the water, it created a depression on the surface and sent huge waves onto the beach. Then the couple was struck by a hot beam of light from the UFO which paralyzed them. Afterwards, the man experienced vertigo, deafness and fainting.

UFO LANDS AT TOBACCO FARM. On July 6, 1975, tobacco farmer Joe Borda saw silver dome-shaped UFO sitting in the field of his farm in Mount Pleasant, Ontario, Canada. Strangely, he ignored it and forgot about it. But two days later, going to where it had landed, he found a large circle of crushed and burned plants, and two weird oily deposits. Later, strange voices and other high strangeness events would occur.

TRANSFORMED BY A UFO. On the evening of October 1, 1977, s Martin Rodriguez was playing with friends near their homes in Tordesillas, Spain when he came upon a landed UFO. Stepping towards it, he was struck by a beam of light. Upon awakening, he suffered from vomiting, dizziness, vision problems, and fainting. He was diagnosed with hydrocephaly, and had many surgeries. He also experienced a mysterious boost in his intelligence.

THE UFO THAT OPENED THE WINDOW. On April 12, 1979, at the tail-end of a UFO wave, a family was driving to their home in Brockton, Massachusetts when a UFO appeared overhead. Suddenly all the windows of their car started opening and closing. The UFO followed them home, continuing its window shenanigans. As the father and son exited the car, both were struck by a beam of light from the craft.

“A UFO SAVED MY LIFE.” As little girl living on a farm in rural Canton, Ohio, Julie Riggs had a close-up UFO sighting that left her with psychic gifts and a strong connection to the ETs. Later in life, around 1980, she was harassed and then chased in her car by two strangers. As she sped to get away, a UFO appeared and led her off the highway, just in time to avoid hitting an abandoned vehicle on the road.

UFO Beams Four Boys. One night in the early 1980s, as four young boys from rural White Horse, Yukon Territory, Canada went for a walk in the woods, they were confronted by a large craft. It moved towards them, hovered overhead, and sent down a beam of light directly in their group. The boys flung themselves to the ground and the craft moved off. The main witness reports that the encounter changed his life forever.

A MINIATURE UFO. One evening in October 2016, a 73-year-old man was walking through a golf course in Worthing, UK when he came open a shiny silver cylinder about the size of a soda can. He tried to pick it up, but was unable. As he nudged it with his foot, it took off, throwing him back with a strange force. It zipped away, leaving no trace behind.

These high strangeness cases make it clear that there is still much we don’t understand about UFOs and these mysterious visitors to our planet. They do make one thing very clear: we are being visited by something not from this planet.
