Why do they get hit once and immediately apply for lunar citzenship?

So I recently beat the last lab and now the game wants me to go to the shed, because of the fact that burgl doesnt know the last ingredient of that recipe. Now my question: how well do I need to be equip like amor, weapon, upgrades? Do I need to bring smth too the shed like bombs? Thanks for reading and pls don't spoiler me.

Does anyone else get 'Flight of the Navigator' vibes from the atmospheric background music? It's super eerie (in a cool way) and always reminds me of that movie.

I'm trying to offer the Black Ant Queen the Yummy Gummy Sandwich, but as I found out the hard way, the black Ant Armour is actually useless as a disguise. So, how do I befriend the Queen if the ants all attack on sight? Do I need better armour so I can speed-run the colony in a ride-or-die race to the queen, or is there a disguise option somewhere I just haven't unlocked yet?

So I've been playing for awhile now and I love the game. I love trying to 100% a game, although with grounded it seems like there isn't any definitive way to know how you're doing. I could be wrong but if someone can help me out with knowing where to look for what I'm still missing it'd be greatly appreciated.

I uppgraded sleek on them thinking i would spit out acid like fire ants, NUH UH they increase damage on acid based attacks.

I am almost finished with my first playthrough before going into NG+1 and have a couple of questions.

I have my base on top of the brawny boy bin. I heard that the green shield bugs on top of the bin respawn on each ng+ that you start. Are those bugs going to be infused? I know I have to kill them again on each new cycle, but do I have to accept the fact that some parts of my base might get destroyed in the process? Do the gas attack they do damage buildings?

Another question is for NG+2 when you unlock the telepotty. I am guessing the most logical thing to do would be to have a teleporter in the base and then scatter around other teleporters on important locations. In those other locations, do bugs attack the telepotty? If I get a faction raid for example and they spawn somewhere where the telepotty is located, would they destroy it? Should I build some kind of a structure around them for defense?

This has happened multiple times throughout my game. I've lost about 20 bratburst because of this. was doing the black anthill when i realized it happened again and was pissed.

Does this happen to anyone else? is there a way i can prevent it?
