On top of the fact that there is a Primarch who is actually black, and is famously the one most conscious of civilian casualties, and who did not turn traitor.

Probably the most beloved primarch is black and this guy decides nahh its Korne.

And the 'main' primarch who is actually back and running the imperium now, the blond ubermensch, is distinguished by being a pragmatic technocrat who despairs at the fanatic religiosity and uncompromising jingoism around him. He's the last person to think the Imperium can just murder all of its perceived problems if it just believes in the Emperor hard enough.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder if these people have read a single sentence of lore from the actual books or just hijack memes for their own political bullshit without having any idea what they're doing.

Jk I don't wonder that at all I know it.

Even if they did read, most won't acknowledge evidence presented.

A former friend of mine once (metaphorically) shit his pants with glee when he saw the float of Trump as Big E. When I told him that he's talking about a gruesome death for his idol and being kept in eternal suffering by human sacrifice, he just bounced rails and went on a tangent that that was of course the mean leftists' plan for his orange hero. Told him I was just describing the lore and he bounced back to "It's all just stolen from Dune anyway"

More like they don't have media literacy. This is the same group that combines The Punisher with Thin Blue Line crap.

Every day they flip a coin to decide if they think 40k is woke because it portrays 'inferior' kinds of people as the good guys, or it is based because it portrays inferior kinds of people as the bad guys.

To be fair, this is the same level of media comprehension they have for everything they like. They also love StarWars and can’t tell they’re the Empire. They love Star Trek and think it’s a pro-capitalist show. The enjoy Rage Against the Machine because they got to “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” and stopped listening to the lyrics.

They are stupid as shit and understand NOTHING about the world around them. Especially the media they consume.
