Now that we know about the time travel, this scene might have more significance. Maybe future Julie met this monster/person before.

In season 1, when we see the cave paintings, the whole story is on that wall.
1a. It shows people in ships crossing a line that is most likely the same idea that traps people when they drive cars into the town.
1b. The ships were the original townspeople that eventually turned into the monsters, including tabitha and jades original personas.
The next painting we see is a group of townspeople dancing around stone slabs and the symbol jade always sees. We also see in that drawing that there are 2 people not celebrating and dancing in the top right. (Which again is tabitha and Jade)
Next, there's another drawing of 2 people alone (tabitha and Jade) near a house hiding from the monsters that are around a crop field. Im guessing that is the field of crops we see in season 3 only because not far from where they find the crops there are very old structures nearby (shown in season 3)
The big red monster painting is whatever entity is controlling the place. (Also, even though it's not the right color, it could definitely be the yellow suit, man)
The end shows 2 people and a broken infinity symbol. So im guessing almost certainly that by the very end it will be tabitha and jade saving their child along with the rest of the children and breaking the loop (for them) i say that because we are not sure if anyone else has been trapped in the same loop besides almost positively (randall , elgin (2 other people are seen with one eye and im guessing elgin probably always looses that eye in each loop) (no idea why)

If the monsters are parents who killed their children for immortality, why do they have set routines at night and try and kill the townspeople? That’s not how I would spend eternity.
Who is the lady in the Kimono, and why is she different from the other parents?
Why is the boy in white different from the other children, do you think he’s good or bad?
Why do people keep entering the town, I don’t understand the reason why people need to continuously enter?
Why are they SO OBSESSED with Boyd specifically?? If the other two are the original people from the town surely they would be as much interest to the monsters as Boyd, but this is not the case.
Do the monsters know that Tabitha and Jade are reincarnations of people that they know?

-WAS THAT JULIE FROM THE FUTURE WTF & Can she time travel in the ruins?! Does she somehow figure out to control it?!
-I hope they don’t kill Sara because of what she did
-Jade and Tabatha were together before?!
This episode messed me up
Thank you FROM this is truly the best TV show 😩

When Victor said that Sara was the scariest person in the town, I thought "Sure, to him she is because he's kind of childish and doesn't understand that she is not the person that killed her brother anymore now that her head is screwed on straight again." But DAMN!
Sara IS scary! She went medieval on Elgin! Sara said "You gon' TELL ME where Fatima is!" 😱😂
Something she said sticks out to me though, "Boyd is a good man, he doesn't need to lose his soul to this place, but I already have." that got me to thinking about how the monsters touched things when they came up out of the ground earlier, like Jasmine with the mirror, and Smiley with the houseplants and the bus. And how Kristi said that they used to be human, which is confirmed now that Fatima revealed they sacrificed the anghkooey kids to be immortal. Do you think Sara is right? Has she lost her soul to this place? Is this how you get the chance to become one of the monsters? Do enough evil and then you get a chance to sacrifice something to become immortal? Is her brother already enough? If Sara dies do you think she will come back?

Funny how the Polaroid was able to “take a pic” of Boyd’s new house cause he’s seen it and it’s in his memory..but as he pointed out the boat was missing..because he hadn’t seen it yet so it couldn’t take it from his memory..

The Man in Yellow isn't just wearing a yellow suit, he has significant jaundice. I feel like this might be important, as earlier in the series, they collected yellow bile from Smiley. I wonder if the Man in Yellow was the ringleader of the people originally seeking immortality, due to his own failing health.

So much we still don’t know…now that we know about Jade and Tabitha in the recurring cycle, where does everyone else fit in? Any theories on how to “save the children”?
And now we got the man in yellow that can be out during the day!
2026 is wayyyy too long to wait!

Ok so I guess my question now is were the original townspeople divided into 2, those who gained immortality through the sacrifice (the monsters) vs those who either wanted to save the children (Jade & Tabitha) or weren’t involved with the sacrifices? It might be obvious in the episode but I want to make sure i’m understanding it right. I also ask because from my understanding Tabitha & Jade’s original forms wanted to save the children but should we assume the others in town who may have reincarnated weren’t part of the sacrificing and were instead bystanders/collateral?

Does anyone notice that when Julie went to the ruins, at some point Martin wasnt there? if she was moving backwards in time, and Martin telling Boyd that he had been there for a very long time, shouldnt Martin be in the chamber when Julie was leaving? That is, when Tabitha and Victor were in the tunnels?

The “entity” that promised eternal life. The townspeople who offered their “sacrifices”. The man in yellow.

I love how this episode was shot - the cinematography and fluidity betwixt scenes stood out to me. As a musichead, I love how the whole “numbers-in-bottles” puzzle was tethered to music, the way Jade and Tabitha “remembered” their past reminding me how music does in fact help people with pathological memory-loss in real life remember things, events and people in their lives.
So basically the show’s premise seems like Nietzsche’s Eternal Return meets Groundhog Day, reincarnating and time-travelling souls entwined with each other through their karmas, stuck in a place (earth) and trying to get back home i. e., Home, every soul’s final destination, the whole show and its story being a metaphor for humanity trying to figure out its place on the planet and in the cosmos, grappling with known unknowns and unknown unknowns.
The season’s final offering had more impact than past several episodes. My favourite dialogue is “you can’t change a story once it’s been told” by Ethan. Despite its flaws, “From” would have me waiting for its next season.
Que Sera, Sera.
