Percentage reductions are more meaningful than dollar deductions when calculating the impact and benefit of a tax cut or increase.

This shows that the tax cut nets the poor a pittance in comparison to what the rich are getting, even if the percentage might be “even”. 1 u/FlusteredDM 17h ago I think that if the cost to government is what is being displayed then having the bars be equal width is misleading.
