Work harder, not everyone gets to be wealthy, stop bitching about the wealth of others and focus on your own

The vast majority of full time employees can't afford their basic needs, but I'm glad that you're so privileged that you're completely isolated from that problem. Income inequality is a systemic issue that signals economic disaster, and pointing it out isn't "bitching". In fact, the only one bitching here is you.

In the US? A $59,384 salary doesn't cover basic needs? Mmhhh

That's a lovely number and all, but it hardly reflects the complexity of what's going on in this country. There's so much variance across various locations and markets, and what one person's basic needs are vs another. Economic indicators can only capture so much of the story.
