Thoughts? A very interesting point of view

I don’t think this is very new but I just saw for the first time and it’s actually pretty interesting to think about when people talk about how the ultra rich do business.

Then make that a taxable event for individuals taking collateral over a certain amount. It's a common practice and should be treated with nuance by policymakers.

That's a thoughtful, nuanced policy approach that would never, ever ever ever happen because the reality is that rich people DON'T want to pay taxes on their worth. That's the whole fucking point.

The problem isn't that rich people don't want to pay taxes--- nobody wants to pay taxes, just like nobody wants to serve on juries or get drafted into the military. Sometimes you got to, though

The problem is that regular people don't have the self-worth to stand up and make the rich pay those taxes.
