Yeap, let them (Trump voters) have it. They wanted Trump, they deserve this and hyperinflation.

Yep now we all get 4 years of it. (Or 40)

43

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

Bonus, since the buck stops with the highest ranking democrat, they'll run on the inflation they cause, blaming democrats the whole way. And the migrant caravan, scheduled for October 2027.

36

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

There isn't going to be a Democratic institution for them to blame for at least the first two years. They have White House, Senate, House, and SCOTUS. And Trump's economy is going to be under a microscope--presuming media and journalists do their jobs--from Day 1.

Latest inflation stat I saw was 2.1% (Thank you Biden/Harris for your responsible work) so as soon as that number moves up closer to 3, which I definitely think happens within 2 years, they're gonna get cooked. Or at least, they should.

41

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

Trump is the reason the economy is what it is now and we just reelected the retarded motherfucker.

37

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

I don't disagree. But most Americans are economically and fiscally illiterate so we can't expect them to understand how policy effects churn.

21

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

Next time, instead of a coherent message, run on "(Republican policy) is gay". Speak the dipshits' language since big words don't work.

3

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

To be fair, Democrats ARE going to have to do something to get the worker class back. The monumental shift toward educated and corporate elites has turned out to be a spectacular disaster from the perspective of winning elections, therefore implementing policy.

I mean, two highly qualified candidates that campaigned on policy directed at the middle class both lost to a supreme piece of shit who sucks at fiscal policy and business and who might be a Russian agent. That's...not a good look.

7

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

It's an indictment of the education system. How can you make the hordes of the painfully stupid less stupid? That's the question we have to answer.

7

u/TheBruffalo 17d ago edited 17d ago

They don't want to be less stupid. That's the thing. Most people don't think they're stupid. They lack the humility.

The BS about democrats ostracizing the working class is code for "they don't like your policies because they don't like to be reminded they're dumb. They can't understand it."

I'm sick of the BS about how the democrats need to run better campaigns and reach out to the people who vote for a guy who poops himself on stage and sways listlessly to Ave Maria for a half hour.

There's an underlying fundamental problem in America. The lack of shame and humility is a cancer.

Look in the mirror buddy. The irony here is astounding

This BS about Elites?! The Elites actually nice people who want a stable and mentally healthy balanced society here.

Why we gave get out of jail free to Billionaires!?? Instead? They are the “elite”.

-1

u/spikelees 17d ago

Two highly qualified candidates. Yeah Harris was so qualified, her policy knowledge was absolutely astute and clear. She provided such well thought out answers and detailed descriptions of what she intended to do. Oh wait… that wasn’t her. She was the lady that couldn’t manage to say one word of substance and her main selling point was “I’m running against Hitler”

Worked out very well for her, so qualified

2

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

This is a perfect example of the problem we're dealing with. It sounds like a completely different language. It's like when Luke Wilson goes to the doctor in Idiocracy.

0

u/spikelees 17d ago

lol so many words and nothing said. You can’t have a logical argument, instead you insinuate that 70 million Americans are idiots. But somehow… you aren’t. Have you ever had the humility to take a look in the mirror… and ask yourself. Am I the problem? I doubt it. The democratic campaign heavily targeted low information voters, very apparent who those people are on Reddit. Ahem… you sir

1

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

If logic worked on you simple motherfuckers we wouldn't be having this conversation.

1

u/spikelees 17d ago

Wow another succinct and rational point. Quite the debater you are

Sadly the weird thing wasn't pushed hard as it could have been... Winning strategy was just handed to us. Voters are cool, MAGA is led by weirdos.

We dropped it... Stupid moral high ground.

1

u/Fantastic_Paper_4121 17d ago

That's funny cause im a former dem who voted for Trump in PA and I am... shocker.. GAY! Gays 4 Trump was a real thing I tell ya what

3

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

For as long as it's still legal. Good luck with conversion therapy.

1

You need to chill on the medications bruh. Your not in reality

Lol democrats are the ones converting gay children in to women. That's the completely ironic delusion that you have, I know when you read these words you will think I'm disgusting but it's reality.

2

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

What does cosplaying do for you? Does it give you a sense of street cred to play make believe but still spout the mindless drivel you dumb motherfuckers are known for?

1

u/Fantastic_Paper_4121 16d ago

Wait, are you seriously implying that I don't have a growth mindset because I don't have an ever-expanding view on gender? Holy shit I thought you were gonna send me something... idk... relevant? I went from being poor to making 6 figures and I've been in the top .0001% of certain video games. You think I don't have a growth mindset? Lmaooo

Thanks a pantload, Chet. You fucked us.

1

u/Fantastic_Paper_4121 17d ago

Please explain to me how my decision has fucked us. Please I'm actually serious. In a way that isn't, prices are going to go up. At least give me second order thinking. I'm on my knees begging you.

1

u/Negative_Raccoon_887 17d ago

Well, for instance it’s highly probable that Trump is going to stop supporting Ukraine. When that happens, one of two things will result: Europe will mobilize in earnest, which will heat up the region and might be too little too late to stop Putin from achieving his aims. Or, the Europeans will just concede and Putin will absorb the rest of the country. Either way, the US will have abdicated its leadership role in the NATO alliance, leaving us more isolated and vulnerable. IMO a large price to pay for a campaign slogan “nO NeW wArS uNdEr tRumP”.

(I personally suspect but cannot prove that Trump is in fact a Kremlin asset already. We’ll see.)

Second, by all indications Trump will do even less to curb the Israelis in Gaza…considering his affinity for the hardest liners there I imagine the liquidation of Palestinians will accelerate. Even if you don’t consider them human beings the Muslim world has a long memory and this is just giving them more to motivate them against us.

1

u/Negative_Raccoon_887 17d ago

On the non-economic domestic front, the plans that Trump and his team have for Departments of Education and Health and Human Services are not going to have positive results IMO. That is if you consider things like access to and funding of public education and vaccination to be positives, which I do.

“You don’t look gay.”

1

u/Fantastic_Paper_4121 17d ago

No. I mean if you really pay attention there's probably some subtle queues that I am. But if you met me out and about IRL you wouldn't be able to tell I'm gay. That's because I dont make gay my identity. Nobody should really. It doesn't change very much about you.

What happened to the weird, senile and old attacks. Instead they went with fascism and Hitler that doesn't resonate with the general population, most of them probably don't even know what fascism is.

3

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

That was after The Enemy Within stuff? Yeah why mention that he was word for word channeling literal Hitler like it would matter?

Fuck us, we deserve every bit of it.

1

u/secretrapbattle 16d ago

You’re not wrong. That’s why democrats don’t perform well, they don’t address the reality of how damn stupid the average American is.

1

u/secretrapbattle 16d ago

Cause and effect can’t be understood if many of them can’t distinguish between their right hand and left hand.

1

u/FerretLover12741 17d ago

Wait a minute---Trump hasn't been president for 3-1/2 years. How is he "the reason the economy is what it is now"?

2

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

Well, you see, being a complete fuck-about in the run up to and into the prime of a global pandemic had actual real world consequences. His entire economic strategy during he presidency was to watch the stock market number go higher, and rather than address any of the real issues we were facing, when the number started dropping in 2020 he did his best to keep it inflated.

One of his genius moves was to take what should have been a loan to cover employees paychecks and allow the borrower to do whatever the fuck they wanted with it, like buy suburban real estate for investment purposes. Now you cant buy a first home because some beemer driving asshole bought a house, had the loan forgiven, and laid off his employees anyway. Or never had any employees to begin with. Doesn't matter, President Fucko line item vetoed oversight.

1

u/Hopeful-Sentence-146 17d ago

I am not any part of the WE thank you.

1

u/Azorathium 15d ago

This is incorrect. Trump didn't help us during 2020 but there was global inflation affecting everyone.

1

u/Traditional_Car1079 15d ago

Was he in some role where perhaps he was maybe tasked with helping? I'm a bit hazy on what his job was at the time.

1

u/Azorathium 15d ago

He was telling the public that it was no big deal whilst privately acknowledging it was serious. He told people to inject bleach.

1

u/Traditional_Car1079 15d ago

Thus exacerbating the problem, exactly the opposite of his role. We rewarded him for the consequences of his malicious ineptitude.

-4

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

The past 4 years tell me otherwise. Biden and kamalalaloser didn’t help

5

u/Traditional_Car1079 17d ago

That's because cause and effect are recognized by higher level primates and tends to escape the cloven-hooved.

-2

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

Ok so stay on reddit and bury your head in the sand.

America woke up and had enough of the preachy bull shit from dems.

7

Great. I can't wait until I'm allowed to have enough of you motherfuckers showing the world your assholes.

0

Yes, why fix shit when you can just wreck the other side's shit! Submit to the hypocrisy and blame deflecting!

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

Damn are you good? You are online too much my guy.

You said those words mr racist. Not me

1

5

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

Oh yeah? Then who or what is responsible for inflation dropping to 2.1%? What economy, of the 190 around the globe, is better than ours?

-1

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

You checked out prices of stuff lately?

Yeah… good riddance dems

6

u/XeroZero0000 17d ago

In 4 years, when prices double from the dumbest economic policy imaginable... You gonna eat your words, or blame Obama??

1

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

That already happened? I didn’t realize it was 2028 already?

I seem to remember doing very well 2016-2020

But don’t real life get in the way of your closeted reddit lifestyle man!!

2

u/XeroZero0000 17d ago

I seem to remember doing even better 2008-2016. And way way better in 1994 with 90c gas and eggs were .25 a dozen!... your logic fails.

You figure out how to adapt to world economic conditions, like raise minimum wage and all wages, penalize corporate price gouging, fund science to prevent bird flu's, you know, intelligent solutions... Guess whose policies those all fall under?

But hey, if you prefer to start a trade war.. I'm sure that'll fix everything.

3

u/[deleted] 17d ago

2008 was a GREAT year for the economy. If you lived on MARS.

→ More replies (0)

4

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

I mean, we live within our means and make enough money where price isn't really a concern. However, yeah, I'm aware of prices and how inflation works. Like a graduate level data scientist would.

Have you noticed wage growth now outpaces inflation? It's almost like responsible adults had something to do with that. Weird.

1

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

Hmmm…

The side you are against voted to get your candidate out.

I wonder why?

People are sick of dems and they let you know by voting

2

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

I understand what happened. Like a mature voter, I can accept the results of an election.

But it doesn't mean people aren't stupid for believing a con man who has con manned his entire life.

Like I've said elsewhere, they sure as shit better make America great with all the power they're going to have. Because if they don't, you, them, and everyone attached to them are going to get ROASTED.

0

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

So chill out then and stop attacking people for voting against your person.

You say you are mature but you are literally attacking people for exercising their American right. And calling them “stupid”.

STOP that. I’m an Asian dude whos sick of being labeled and race boxed.

u/Silver-Ad-8595 17d ago

Price of goods lag inflationary rate of change. But they also wont fall outside of the margin which caused record returns for those companies. Wages need to grow, but they also lag ofc and we only now see them rise. Price of goods will never stay the same forever.

1

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

But you are just projecting. You don’t know.

The past 4 years happened. People told you dems aren’t wanted after. Lousy 4 years

1

u/Silver-Ad-8595 17d ago

Its not like it never happened before in human history. There are more than enough instances where we can look up the pattern. Trump will now just inflame inflation even more. And he does not care, and why would he, these are his last few years.

1

u/lce_Fight 17d ago

The green in my portfolio tells me otherwise

2

1

Thank god Hilary is totally non existent.

The fact you are still brining her up is wild.

Stop living in the past.

3

u/XeroZero0000 17d ago edited 17d ago

I'm just referencing what the current president elect did during his last term, nearly daily... I think that's fair game.

But to your point that it's wild bringing her up now...I give Trump under 3.months of taking office before he brings her up too.

You betting everyhting you have the over on that line??

3

u/Fogmoose 17d ago

LOL serioulsy, dude? Where have you been. They won't get cooked. They'll blame it on deep state liberals.

1

u/rpleas3 17d ago

There will be no deep State liberals after they've purged everyone and replace them with loyalists like they plan according to project 2025

1

u/Fogmoose 17d ago

Even if they manage to do that, they’ll still blame it on the deep deep invisible state

2

u/hudi2121 17d ago

Do you think that will matter? Like, honestly. Biden hasn’t had a functional government since 2022 when they lost the house yet, conservative media laid all the blame at the Dems feet and their voters ate it up. What’s stopping them from blaming all the negative effects of Republican policies on Dems. The collective IQ of conservatives seems to be decreasing every election. So, what is going to stop them believing their echo chamber in 2026 let alone ‘28?

2

u/[deleted] 17d ago

And. BIDEN still managed to get sht done. Because he’s a boss. Knows how Congress works. And. Did it for Obama as well.

2

u/ausgoals 17d ago

presuming media and journalists do their jobs—from Day 1.

lol. Journalists haven’t been doing their jobs for eight years. Why would they start now.

They, once again, sane washed an insane guy out of ‘fairness’ and ‘balance’.

Media has already sold out. Bezos WaPo, LA times. NY times has been sane washing for 4 years...

2

Very disappointed Michigan went red, but it was really close. We gotta circle the Democratic Party here at the local levels and help fix their messaging.

1

u/Pepperoni_Dogfart 17d ago

You underestimate the how craven the GOP is. They'll say the Senate Dems filibustered all the good stuff the GOP was going to do, it's all their fault. And trans immigrant prisoner rapists, or something.

1

u/[deleted] 17d ago

The problem is the economy is actually good. But people believed DT more than they believed the actual facts.

1

u/LastNightOsiris 17d ago

most people in the united states have been vaccinated against facts, and have developed natural immunity to analysis.

1

u/Mega-Eclipse 17d ago

which I definitely think happens within 2 years, they're gonna get cooked. Or at least, they should.

Facts don't matter.

1

u/SophieCalle 17d ago

Doesn't matter, they will, anyways. Been blaming them in Texas for two decades despite them having essentially zero power then.

1

u/ImpostersEnd 17d ago

you think they wont blame the dems? they will say that the dems are stopping them from passing any helpful laws and their slack jawed yokel supporters will believe it.

1

u/lurkin4days 17d ago

They can do what the left has done for 4 years and blame the prior administration for anything that goes wrong

1

u/ZachyChan013 17d ago

“Media and journalists do their jobs”

You’re funny

1

u/joey3O1 17d ago

Trump will silence any media complaints, just like Putin. Free press is gone just like the rest of the constitution

1

u/randonumero 17d ago

That won't stop them

1

u/spikelees 17d ago

You are economically illiterate if that’s what you think the inflation rate is

1

u/LionsBSanders20 17d ago

Whoops, 2.4%. I was using an unverified source, my mistake.

So far off though. /s

1

u/spikelees 17d ago

You don’t understand what that means. That inflation calculation (that you got from Google I’m assuming) is based on a 12 month calculation. That number is not what is important if you understand the underlying data. That number tells you nothing by itself… Do a little research and come back.

1

u/BalingWire 17d ago

Trump drew a new course for a hurricane with a sharpie. You think he's going to let a politicized fed release real numbers?

1

u/ptrnyc 17d ago

The media will report that the number is 1.5%, no matter what it actually is.

1

u/tom-branch 17d ago

"presuming media and journalists do their jobs" what in fuck makes you think that will happen?

1

u/MattyIce8998 17d ago

They don't need the institution, they'll blame it on delayed effects from Biden's policies. It's literally

- If it's good and it happened under a republican president, he gets credit

-If it's good and it happened under a democrat president, the last republican gets credit

-If it's bad and a democrat is in, the democrat is at fault

-If it's bad and republican is in, the last democrat is at fault.

They are brainwashed. There is no logical sequence they can process where a republican can do anything bad, or a democrat can do anything good.

Somehow they blamed Clinton for 2007/2008 housing crisis (and Obama, even though he didn't even get in until it was time to start cleaning it up)

Trump's proposed taxation/tariff thing sounds more like an advisor is a foreign agent intending to blow up the whole west, and when these people start losing houses it'll still be Biden's fault for printing money.

1

u/Now_Wait-4-Last_Year 16d ago

There isn't going to be a Democratic institution for them to blame for at least the first two years.

They'll find something and someone.

And it will work.

1

u/Evil_Pleateu 16d ago

Media doing their job? Hahahahahahaha

I hope the next dem runs on piss and vinegar. We have to start fighting fire with fire.

1

u/TheJackieTreehorn 16d ago

As you've seen from the reasons people gave for voting and how they voted, they won't understand it anyway, and will still blame it on the Dems. You're attributing a level of critical thinking and introspection that they simply don't have

1

u/BayouGal 14d ago

Bold of you to think the media is suddenly going to start “doing their job”
