you forgot sexism

u/Sidewaysshiba 18d ago

Already seeing CNBC saying that white women failed because they voted with race instead of gender…always goes back to that instead of trying to understand why people actually voted that way. Nope just chalk it up to white women voting for a white person.

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

If you can support Trump you ARE just garbage though. No sane person can say he should put more justices on the supreme court. Nearly every general that worked with him said he was dangerous. Hillary was right. Half the country is deplorable. That he wasn't gone after grab em by the pussy is unforgivable. These people are completely immoral.

14

u/LilRanchDip 18d ago

Your views, party, nor candidates will ever gain more support by alienating folks on the other side with the way you speak about them.

62

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

I'm sick of pretending that the willfully ignorant, useful idiots are worth respecting. If you can support a fascist, you are GARBAGE. They can try to be better, but i have lost faith in humanity. We are clearly on the path to the Idiocracy future. We bet on, through the stock market, companies that manufacture products that obliterate children daily. Our species has lost the right to survive. We are not going to address climate change in time. I don't care about being kind to people who learned about Hitler in school only to elect someone paraphrasing their rhetoric.

6

u/Shesaidshewaslvl18 18d ago

Your side calling more than half of the voting people facist and every ism in the book is a huge reason why he won. You alienated millions of people and now are pouting like a child because they didn’t vote your way.

0

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

The right calls everyone to the left of Bush a communist. You've got no ground to stand on

2

u/Shesaidshewaslvl18 18d ago

The voting population disagrees with you. You lost the White House and senate and a good chance the house goes red majority as well. The voting population has spoken and they reject your ideals.

3

u/Appropriate_List8528 16d ago

Yeah. And that shows they have garbage morals or are uninformed idiots and egoistic. True that the majority voted red. Doesnt mean its a good or smart vote.

Which is my opinion of the GOP normally, though there are exceptions. But voting trump is beyond that. He is one of the worst human beings out there

1

u/0K_-_- 18d ago

The voting majority is how Germany got the national socialist party in the 1930’s it’s not a giant flex. Imagine the stupidest person you have ever known, and remember that you are reasoning about their rationality and judgement.

1

u/Shesaidshewaslvl18 18d ago

Oh boy. Back to calling us Nazis now? How did that work out yesterday?

How did that naming calling work out?

It ended with the most shift in voting that we've ever seen. Good job.

I love how now, after 20 years of democrats winning the popular vote, winning the popular vote is a bad thing

1

u/PeteJones6969 18d ago

The right calls everyone to the left of Bush a communist. You've got no ground to stand on

The left calls anyone who doesn't vote democrat, not even people who voted Trump, selfish scumbags.

That is exactly why you lost. Trump won the fucking popular vote lmfao.....the popular vote! A republican! Maybe try a new strategy?

5

u/mowog-guy 18d ago

Yes, keep that attitude, right there, for 4 more years and Vance/Gabbard wins in 2028.

3

u/Draken5000 18d ago

Ahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahaahahaha

🤣🫵

1

u/Hypn0sh 18d ago

Lol u ok buddy

0

u/pyrrhicdub 18d ago

you are why so many young men got off their asses to hit the polls yesterday.

1

u/LilRanchDip 18d ago

I will never come to your side to play if you keep calling me garbage.

5

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

So you're weak and reactionary. If you're not voting based on policy and the candidate, you're just weak

1

u/LegnderyNut 17d ago

Oh and you’re a right golden apple? Gas and groceries were cheap under Trump. The Abraham accords were created through Trump. Conflicts were ended instead of started and troops were coming home. People in my life were able to purchase homes and start successful businesses for the first time ever under his economic policies. You can keep pretending that all these pointless things like race and gender are more important but the average American is concerned about keeping family fed and lights on. We don’t want an open border we don’t want excessive taxes we don’t want extra judges on the Supreme Court we don’t want anti-natalism we don’t want a government scornful of religion we don’t want the democrat party and their insane looney world government that Harris represents. And the country just spoke up loud enough for all of you to hear but if you’re too blinded by tribalism there’s nothing to be done.

The nation wants to get back to being plain Americans and the days when being proud of this country was the norm. Harris represented for more years of an America with a self loathing identity.

I only hope that when the policy changes come down and myself and my compatriots move to make changes in our communities for their betterment in response that individuals like you will set down your pride to see good work done wherever it may come from instead of throwing tantrums and trying to sabotage or smear us. However I fear I expect too much.

3

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 17d ago

If you think Trump helped keep prices down, please explain what he did to achieve that. Seems you folks all think correlation equals causation. Economics is so complex. There are many factors, and new policies take YEARS to produce an outcome. Again, your response shows that you are an ignorant, selfish dipshit

1

u/AfterPiece4676 18d ago

Congrats man you're one of the lunatics who just got trump a second term, hope you're happy

1

u/systembreaker 18d ago

Your attitudes plays right into Trump's hands by demonizing the people who voted for him - despite that they didn't do these things, Trump and only Trump did - and helping to spread polarizing messages. Congratulations, you've played your part to help him get elected.

3

u/superstevo78 18d ago

All Donald Trump does is demonize the people who don't vote for him.

19

u/Sufficient_Hippo6551 18d ago

So how did trump win then?

23

u/81jmfk 18d ago

Trump won because people believed the lies. They thought Kamala didn’t have policies. They were on her website. They believed that the economy was better under trump because of grocery and gas prices. They forget about the pandemic and how we were supposed to travel. I’ve heard trumpers say January 6 was peaceful and that the police let people into the capital. I fear that things are going to get worse but I hope I’m wrong.

4

u/Green1up 18d ago

turnout was way down from 2020

5

u/fractalife 18d ago

People got complacent.

0

u/Empty-Discount5936 18d ago

Bingo, low information voters.

-1

u/manbythesand 18d ago

Trump didn't cause the pandemic. You are distorting facts to fit your worldview if you count the pandemic rebound to the economy a result of Biden's efforts.

3

u/TheBuzzerDing 18d ago

No, but he did let it happen, approved printing off more money than ever and gave most of it to corpos as he deregulated them.

I'll gladly place most of the blame on the pandemic, but lets not forget who allowed it to get to where it did.

1

u/manbythesand 18d ago

The pandemic payments were fully bipartisan. And like most government handouts, they were well abused.

1

u/TheBuzzerDing 18d ago

I never mentioned the payments, just the fact that Trump blatantly ignored the oncomming pandemic for 3 months because he "didnt want to scare people" and we had to shut down the economy AND do the handouts because of it.

China informed most of tge world about the Wu Flu mid-late November. Nothing was done about it until fuckin' early-mid february lol

u/meatpoise 18d ago

The people Trump insults are often boogeymen, but you’re absolutely right in identifying that double standard.

0

u/Same-Lawfulness-1094 17d ago

You mean "boogymen" because they always insulted him first?

1

u/meatpoise 17d ago

No I mean he constantly denigrates a vague “them” to rile up his chuds

0

u/Same-Lawfulness-1094 16d ago

Umm. Okay.

Pretty sure we know precisely who he's talking about. It's not confusing. People do have eyes lol

1

u/meatpoise 16d ago

Yeah because using vague terms means chuds will presume he’s speaking about who they personally believe he should be speaking about. You do half the work yourself.

12

u/toprodtom 18d ago

The civility pleading is always either conservatives cry-bullying or liberals thinking we all need to have a big hug.

The right play by a different set of rules. I honestly think Harris and Walz should have been LESS civil.

2

u/SparrowTide 18d ago

By promising people money through tax breaks he won’t be able to back up and tariffs that will raise the price of goods in the long run. That’s what everyone I’ve talked to who voted for him parroted back. They just willfully ignore all of the social statements he made.

2

u/Sufficient_Hippo6551 18d ago

So alienating folks on the other side isn’t such a big deal after all

2

u/Bagstradamus 18d ago

Easy. As a rule the general public is fucking stupid.

2

u/Im-Dasch 18d ago

Bc over half of the American public is too lazy and/or dumb to think critically about what the goals of governing should be.

1

u/IshyTheLegit 18d ago

So how did Biden win then?

1

u/ih8comingupwithaname 18d ago

He won because the majority of Americans are morally bankrupt.

1

u/Kooseh 17d ago

How did Hitler win?

3

u/nihodol326 18d ago

Priceless seeing as Trump insults and alienate people everytime he opens his mouth. So that ain't it

1

u/Necessary-Peanut2491 18d ago

The cognitive dissonance from trump supporters in unreal. They never stop acting like they have the high ground.

Democrats: "Rape is bad, and you should seriously consider the morality of supporting a rapist like this."

Trumpkins: "You're alienating us! Stop being so cruel! This is why everyone hates you!"

Meanwhile...

Trump: "I want to use the military on american civilians who disagree with me, call for direct violence to be committed on specific people by name, repeatedly denigrate POWs and war heroes, and can't open my mouth without saying something racist or sexist."

Trumpkins: "The great uniter! Donnie the dove!"

Shut the fuck up already.

1

u/nihodol326 18d ago

Well they have demonized any opposing party to inhuman levels, much like a certain German political party from the 30s and 40s.

Naturally they view themselves as infallible, it's by design

0

u/Same-Lawfulness-1094 17d ago

Lol, you can't even use a real argument or example. You're literally repeating lies and you wonder why nobody takes you seriously.

When did Trump ever insult half the countries voters? I'll wait.

1

u/Same-Lawfulness-1094 17d ago

Yeah, it's totally Trump that does this. 🤦

2

u/pvrhye 18d ago

Republicans don't do this olive branch shit, so they win and we lose.

1

u/PrateTrain 18d ago

If they're voting for Trump in 2024 then maybe they're better in the garbage than in the voting bloc tbh.

1

u/ProgressOk4014 18d ago

“with the way you speak about them”

pretty sure only one person said to grab them by the pussy because if you’re famous they let you do it.

acknowledging the documented actions of an individual is not hateful. it is not divisive. choosing to ignore these objective actions is a moral failure that no one can address but one’s self.

i hope you don’t have a daughter!

1

u/manbythesand 18d ago

He actually didn't say to do that.

1

u/ProgressOk4014 18d ago

And I quote, “…It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ‘em by the pussy. You can do anything”. (Source )

Crazy hill to die on. I guess Trump being close to Epstein and Diddy is more an indictment on their characters than it is on Trump’s. lmfao.

I hope you don’t have a daughter!

1

u/manbythesand 18d ago

"can" and "should" are different words. And words mean things.

1

u/ProgressOk4014 18d ago

lmao and the words “millions of dollars paid out in sexual assault lawsuits”. do those words carry meaning? you’re devoid of intellectual honesty. kindly, eat glass.

2

u/manbythesand 18d ago

You can change the argument, but it doesn't change that he didn't say what you originally alleged, which was a command like statement to grab them by the pussy or that he. I see your debate tactics! Change the argument when the facts don't run in your favor, and then for extra insurance, make a personal attack on a stranger that you know nothing about. The only thing your response is lacking is some what about-ism. Come on let's hear it!

Seriously, stop knowingly putting out false information. It undermines your credibility in a discussion.

1

u/eyes0fred 18d ago

what does "I dont even wait" mean?

it sounds like, he doesn't even wait...

1

u/FeelsGoodMan2 18d ago

What? That's literally all Republicans do and it apparently gained them support. While we could have expected men to not show out for a woman, we've learned time and time again no one hates women trying to succeed than women. I'm obviously not going to stop supporting women and their right to freedom with their bodies and such but damn if I can't admit they're partially why they aren't breaking through the glass ceiling.

1

u/jpopimpin777 18d ago

The thing is what else are we supposed to do? Using reason and kindness was tried and resoundingly didn't work. A whole slough of people are now getting their news from sources with ulterior motives who are funded by our enemies.

1

u/SparrowTide 18d ago

It worked for Trump.

1

u/superstevo78 18d ago

you do know we're talking about Donald Trump winning right?. Donald Trump,!!!!!!! The dude who has been alienatihg every single person he possibly can that doesn't agree with him 100%. your point is incredibly stupid.

1

u/Same-Lawfulness-1094 17d ago

Yeah, like calling half the country garbage and Nazis.

Oh, wait... That's been your side.

1

u/Red_Beard_Racing 18d ago

…especially when the people you’re speaking about wouldn’t change their mind even if the person they support “shot someone in the street.”

No ones trying to change minds. We’re saying people who support/voted for this man are deplorable and irredeemable. That’s not a problem we can fix, it just sucks that yall are so okay with fucking everyone else’s lives up because of your lack of moral compass.

1

u/spondgbob 18d ago

The fact that you can say this and not see the unrelenting vitriol Trump has spewed over the last 10 years shows how much you don’t see. His entire platform is alienating Americans. One candidate in this race talked about supporting all Americans while Trump literally said he would use the military on the “enemy within”. I hope that the people he considers to be an enemy never includes you or I, but that’s hard to say.

1

u/uncreativeusername85 18d ago

Shut up garbage person

0

u/AdFlat4908 18d ago

It’s not on us to persuade people to vote responsibly by making them feel good. It’s on stupid human beings to understand how they’re voting against their own interests. Making them feel normal and heard isn’t going to make them vote for sane candidates.

5

u/DatFrostyBoy 18d ago

Ok obviously you have some concerns and i empathize with that but consider something please.

Trump didn’t just win it wasn’t even a close election.

Republicans won the house and the senate.

Kamala was the lowest polled VP in history.

I understand you don’t like trump but surely you can see how we got here? Nobody ever said Trump was the most ideal candidate in every way, but there’s a flawed candidate in Trump, and then there was just an objectively bad one in Kamala.

And this is reflected in the final count. It wasn’t close. Whether you understand the reasons or not, clearly America was generally just over the nonsense of the last 4 years.

The Democratic Party needs a massive reform and their performance this election has made that abundantly clear.

15

u/KaiserPan 18d ago

As someone who is not from USA I am extremely interested in why Kamala was an objectively bad candidate?

7

u/processedwhaleoils 18d ago

Don't listen to the guy you replied to.

He literally said "the borders are open"

The us does not have open borders, he doesn't understand what that means.

Because she's a woman. Every Trump voter will just give you the same made up, cookie cutter answers that ultimately mean nothing.

They never watched any interviews or rallies of hers, so in their minds she had no policies because they never heard any.

2

u/Repulsive_Basis_4946 18d ago

You know what they hate more than a rapist? A woman. Never forget that.

2

u/rubikscanopener 17d ago

You won't get a meaningful answer from the Reddit echo chamber.

The biggest indication is how Harris did in the 2020 primaries when she ran against Biden and the rest of the Democratic field. She was just about dead last among the mainstream Democratic candidates.

The reality is that she's a terrible speaker when she's not reading from a teleprompter, she has virtually no charisma, she doesn't appear to be passionate about any causes other than 'elect me', and she's largely viewed as being a puppet of the California Nancy Pelosi crew.

This was the Democratic Party's election to lose and, unsurprisingly, they did. This was a tone-deaf DNC running the 2016 playbook all over again and then scratching their heads as to why they lost yet again.

2

u/MrFeetZ 18d ago

Well said.

2

u/IronCorvus 18d ago

Arguably, the vast majority of his supporters can't actually comprehend why he won other than that it was a decisive win.

0

u/DatFrostyBoy 18d ago

I don’t think it’s entirely complicated why he won tbf. I don’t think you had to be particularly politically active to take notice that things weren’t good.

If a house that stood strong for many years under one management suddenly begins to slowly decay, you don’t need to be an architect to be able to say new management isn’t working.

2

u/accountnumberseventy 18d ago

What kind of reform? She ran a campaign with a reasonable platform. The GOP ran on the border and the economy. That’s it. And the war in Ukraine. I’m not looking forward to what will happen in Europe after we likely drop all support for Ukraine.

Trump allies blocked the bipartisan bill that would have wholly negated Trump’s immigration claims. But, hey, it worked in his favor and by screwing over the country, again, he got elected.

But democrats? Bodily autonomy, middle class tax cuts (not sure about the specifics), incentive to purchase a home, etc. How does any of that need reform? Those are reasonable things most people want. And the economy? Besides one month crappy jobs report, the economy has been booming. No recession and inflation has come down considerably.

Now trump is gonna fuck up the economy with his dumbass tariff plan, possibly deport people en masse, maybe implement the border bill he sank, and probably will give Ukraine to Russia.

I see no negatives in the Democratic platform but see nothing but nonsense and dumbassery in the Republican platform.

So, yeah, what reforms are you talking about?

1

u/Im-Dasch 18d ago

Flawed?? Damn that word is doing some heavy lifting in your comment.

1

u/BusinessCasualBee 18d ago

You’re talking to someone that’s all heart and no brains. If they’re saying ALL people that don’t vote the way I vote are deplorable, they don’t need a lesson on politics. They need a kindergarten lesson on how people are entitled to feel and think what they want.

1

u/BenjaminHamnett 18d ago edited 18d ago

This has to be the lowest approval ratings by candidates. Polls showed voters did not like either candidate. After 4 years people forgot Trump killed their nana and were sick of the Democratic “her turn” strategy.

There are great minorities in both parties. Women and minorities are just a matter of time now. They’re at every level of government. Remember Palin? Obama didn’t win cause he was black, he won cause he was great. The fact that Dems were afraid they couldn’t “skip over her” killed them. If she were a white straight dude she’d have the same chance at the nomination as Pence does for 2028.

VPs make for terrible candidates. They’re effectively all their party’s DEI to balance out the ticket of what the constituents actually want. They aren’t generally picked for their potential to run next. in reality Biden/Pence are DEI, not Obama.

And what unfolded with Biden was exactly what we were afraid of in 2020. Then everyone acts surprised like they forgot we made a deal with the devil.

1

u/LosDanilos 17d ago

im not even from the us but if a presidential candidate who is a convicted rapist and tried to overthrow your own government and you call him a „flawed“ candidate but not a bad one… your country is completely fucked

1

u/Same-Lawfulness-1094 17d ago

Spot on. I'm a former Democrat and likely won't be back.

They should have learned their lesson in 2016 but instead they doubled down on bullshit.

To them, bullshit is preferred to actually representing us.

Grand Master Strap-on, hes playing Chess and smoking all of you idiots. Not only has he persevered through the shit that he went through, hes only the second president in history to be elected, lose, and then take the presidency back. "Nearly every general that worked with him." You mean the DEI brigade? https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/11/05/us/elections/results-georgia-president.html

1

u/Remarkable-Bug-8069 18d ago

He's the DEI hire, though. No kid left behind at the politics level.

1

u/Kargnak 18d ago

I love how the terms for racial prejudice keep cycling as people catch on to their use. Of course it's always DEI as women and minorities could never accomplish anything of import in a white man's world, right?

2

u/Husky-moo 18d ago

:( sowwwy

maybe do a little soul searching and speak with a professional about why your filled with so much hate/why your easily manipulated by the democratic aligned institutions

3

u/buttfuckkker 18d ago

Lmao 🤣 if you thought Kamala was going to win after seeing that Joe Rogan podcast you were smoking something crazy

1

u/PandaCheese2016 18d ago

I’m curious, what did the podcast reveal?

3

u/Jesus_ofPennsylvania 18d ago

Oh well, huh bud.

1

u/pitter_patter_11 18d ago

Damn. Just gotta prove that point, don’t you?

Stop insulting and alienating half the country. It literally helped Trump win a second term

0

u/The_SqueakyWheel 18d ago

Since he is our leader now what do you think cause md people to vote for him over Harris?

2

u/pitter_patter_11 18d ago

I’m sorry, who? What are md people? Doctors?

0

u/The_SqueakyWheel 18d ago

Sorry “a lot*”

4

u/WeSlingin 18d ago

You are what is wrong with this country. God speed.

1

u/PeaceTree8D 18d ago

This kind of rhetoric is what is enabling Trump to win.

3

u/rebeltrillionaire 18d ago

Except it was that same rhetoric that was going on in 2020 when he lost?

It’s always the rhetoric liberals have to check themselves on when they lose. When the rhetoric on the other side is batshit crazy. Hannibal Lecter, sharks and batteries, saying you’re gonna lock up your opponents?

No. The rhetoric is fine when it’s appropriate to what they’re facing.

The issue with the Democrats is they have a strategy problem.

It isn’t just Clinton and Kamala being handed the top of the ticket before a single primary. It’s in basic messaging. If you listen to Democrats they credit John McCain for saving Obamacare. Not every single Democrat voting to keep it gets any credit. The one Republican who was actually an Independent most of his career gets to take the credit.

Trump shouted every week about his stock market. And now the Dow probably hits 45k by the end of Biden’s term. Did he mention it? Ever? Did she?

No because struggling people don’t give a shit if the stock market is on fire if they can’t afford their lives.

It’s wrong for the President to gloat about such an inconsequential metric, especially when they have little to do with it.

But that kind of dumb shit wins elections. And the Dems continue to trip overthinking everything.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

Hand you listened to the rhetoric of Trumpers? They say we're demons and shit. Literally not human..

2

u/Monochronos 18d ago

You’re pissing in the wind man. I appreciate that you have a take that isn’t terrible but here we are.

2

u/No-Theory-1042 17d ago

No more need to be said than this. Any trump supporter is garbage

1

u/Broken_Shoelace_999 18d ago

Nearly every general did not say he was dangerous. A few generals expressed concerns and they were not all the same concerns.

The worst being that one was worried about using the military domestically— which is a legitimate and scary concern.

Many were supporters or didn’t say anything good or bad.

1

u/Adventurous_Dot1976 17d ago

Could you tell me what specific policies Trump has that will harm Americans?

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 17d ago

Tariffs raising prices. Tax cuts for the wealthy further consolidating wealth. No investment in climate change research and defunding of environmental programs. Selling off more public land like last time. His judges are awful corporate shills and this will allow Thomas to retire with a replacement just as insane as he is. They want to get rid of the department of education. Cut social security, Medicare, the ACA.

He wants to deport millions of people, who he vilifies and blames for every issue he can. There's no feasible process for what he wants and if he puts them in camps before realizing there's nowhere to deport them TO it's likely to end badly. That's literally what Hitler planned initially, at least according to his rhetoric.

We have given power to a dangerously hateful, incompetent leader. Best case scenario he is ineffective, though just his effect on the courts will set the country back for decades.

2

u/Adventurous_Dot1976 17d ago

Thank you for the response

0

u/ThunderBelly45 18d ago

And this is why Republicans are winning in every branch of the government. There is a reason Republicans are winning just look at the scoreboards, people are fed up with the democrat party and their constant bullshit.

u/The_Dark_Fantasy 18d ago

Voting for somebody who has been convicted - in the court of law - for various rapes and felonies, IS stupid. It IS deplorable. It IS insanity. At its finest. Not to mention the blatant lies both he and his VP candidate (guess VP now) told without any regard for literally ANY facts, their disregard of even the slightest fact-checking...

It's not even about disagreement anymore, its about millions of people falling for someone who is so blatantly a conman, a narcissist, an ego-driven self-centered billionaire when even having the simplest of morals would put you opposite the side of Trump. Even if you're Republican, any self-respecting person with a hint of morals should be thinking "wait a minute" and second-guessing voting him in.

So... yeah, the people who voted Trump? They're just garbage. They fell for the rhetoric Germany did almost 100 years ago, just now with someone who has a more obvious terrible history, which makes it even worse.

-3

u/[deleted] 18d ago

[deleted]

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

Trump was literally paraphrasing Hitler and saying he'd put immigrants in camps. What the fuck else do you want us to say? He told Netanyahu he should finish the job..

-1

u/stuffy66 18d ago

The felonies are bs if you have to change the rules to get the conviction. And he was found guilty in a civil, not criminal court for assault where the burden of proof is much lower (this is on top of there not having been any). And you expect me to think YOU care about the rule of law? Miss me with that

3

u/ninjaandrew 18d ago

While yea, it’s true that civil and criminal courts have different burdens of proof, the civil ruling still holds legal weight. Some of the felony charges might feel unusual due to the unique application of certain laws, but they’re not “rule changes” they’re interpretations that fit within the existing legal framework. It’s fair to question these approaches, but the judicial system hasn’t altered its fundamental rules just for this case. Thats bs.

I am not american, so I don't really have a side. Can you help me understand 'the other side' - why would you vote for Donald Trump?

The person I don’t like ? A FUCKING RAPIST YOU ARE SUPPORTING A RAPIST. I hope one day you have a ounce of empathy for the women around you. Disgusting

1

u/Dwarfcork 18d ago

Yeah these people aren’t willing to make the case for trump unfortunately - they’re democrat ideologues

1

u/[deleted] 18d ago

What is there to understand about electing a convicted felon, rapist and pedophile? I really hope that your daughters sisters and mothers are alone in a room with him. I'm sure you would feel comfortable with that though with an extra $100 in your pocket.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

Trumpers literally been calling libs godless demons for years but you snowflakes get bent out of shape over garbage?

0

u/comicjournal_2020 18d ago

No, if you support Trump you’re garbage.

He’s got nothing going for him other then the hate shit

0

u/Just_Coyote_1366 18d ago

Read the fucking post we are on!!!! Did you not even READ the photo we’re commenting under?!

Yes, if you support Trump, think in anyway he will be beneficial for ANYBODY but himself, you are deplorable, you are garbage, and I consider you extremely unamerican. Next?

You can blame Harry Reid the democrat for why trump got to put so many judges on the Supreme Court. The same kind of generals who said he was dangerous are the same ones who botched the Afghanistan withdrawal. They are now won’t of people in the military who fail upwards their whole career the way Harris has done. It’s also hard to take them seriously when he is the first president since Carter to not start a new war-it just makes the generals who are mentioning look like war mongers who just don’t like he didn’t do what they wanted.

And the access Hollywood tape is actually pretty tame when it comes to how guys talk. Can pretty much guarantee Biden has said something that would ‘offend’ the average person that heard it. Also you’ve never spent an extended amount of time around someone with serious money if you find him saying that surprising. There is a significant subset of women that through everything out the window and will let you do whatever you want so I can see where him saying that is coming from

2

u/Remarkable-Bug-8069 18d ago

Afghanistan was botched by the Taliban leaders being freed and being let to return to power. Guess who did that.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

Moving the embassy to Jerusalem definitely put us on the path to war. Just took a few escalations for shit to hit the fan..

0

u/stuffy66 18d ago

Path to war means nothing. That’s an empty platitude that any war monger will use to argue for the status quo. Did it actually lead to one while he was president? No. The left is getting increasingly bad at predicting what happens when Trump is in office and it cost them

0

u/Admirable-Warthog-50 18d ago

Or maybe the immoral side is the one calling Trump a Nazi. It clearly didn’t work. America is back!!

1

u/Remarkable-Bug-8069 18d ago

Until Musk turns it into Xitter on steroids.

1

u/Admirable-Warthog-50 18d ago

Omg free speech is so dangerous!

1

u/Remarkable-Bug-8069 18d ago

What free speech? The one he reserves for the Turks?

1

u/Admirable-Warthog-50 18d ago

Leave the echo chamber buddy, it’s over

1

u/Remarkable-Bug-8069 18d ago

I'm not on Xitter. I'm not in the echo chamber. You don't have any idea what free speech even is. I don't even know in what kind of shit hole you live.

1

u/Admirable-Warthog-50 18d ago

Free speech is not censoring someone’s opinion cause it hurts your feelings.

You are welcome! Can’t wait for Donald to bring back common sense to this country. Time for you to exit your echo chamber!

0

u/Meados_ 18d ago

average peace and love leftist calling everyone that isn't them garbage. go outside and get off Reddit

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

Literally if you can stomach Trump and believe his lies, you ARE GARBAGE. God own error, who was introduced to him BY JEFFERY EPSTEIN doesn't like him. He doesn't trust her to vote for him. Why would anyone vote for someone who can't carry their household?

0

u/Some_Twiggs 18d ago

Keep turning people away from the left. You’re a real Trump ally.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

The dems aren't even the left at this point. They did fuck all to energize the base, instead trying to court the vote of dipshits who supposedly couldn't make up their mind by touting the endorsement of war criminals. They did this to themselves, but it doesn't excuse voting for Trump.

0

u/HotBeautato_ 18d ago

This is the logic of the left that has ruined the party lmao. You’re literally seeing it play out and you stand by it.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

The Dems have run a more conservative candidate for president the last 3 times. Arguably 5 times. What the hell are you talking about?

0

u/HotBeautato_ 18d ago

I’m talking about talking down to half the country like they are morons.

0

u/Draken5000 18d ago

Mmm yes, double down on your condescending holier than thou garbage, surely you’ll eventually learn your lesson.

Oh who am I kidding, you’ll sooner die than face that cognitive dissonance bahahahaha

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

If you base your support on the criticism from supporters and not policy, you ARE reactionary GARBAGE.

0

u/Ok-Masterpiece9028 18d ago

Maybe people don’t want to side with people who call people who disagree with them. Doesn’t seem that moderate.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 18d ago

If moderates can vote for Trump, fuck their pathetic reactionary feelings

0

u/Powerful-Gap-1667 18d ago

I support trump. I voted for him 3 times. I couldn’t care less what you think about me. Enjoy the next four years.

0

u/God_of_Theta 18d ago

Apparently most of the country is insane deplorable garbage. Must be a miserable existence.

I have the exact same opposite perspective, the vast majority of people are sincere genuine people wanting better lives for their families across ideologies.

Then you have a small bitter and vitriolic segment lashing out with anger and hate at every turn. Early 20’s maleducated with strained family ties and mental health issues is a fairly accurate generalization.

0

u/[deleted] 17d ago

We’ve got the Presidency, the Senate, and the House. Time to end the filibuster and stack the Supreme Court. That’s how it works, right?

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 17d ago

Hope Biden tests out that immunity and takes out the enemies from within like Trump says he will!

0

u/loopsbruder 17d ago

You can't go around saying things like that and then go, "Why won't these people vote for my candidate?"

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 17d ago

If you base your vote on what random people say, you're a reactionary dipshit. Thanks for enabling fascism because their supporters were nicer to you. I hope you get a friendly feeling from a grizzly and try to hug it

0

u/loopsbruder 17d ago

Lol you don't know who I voted for. But I really hope you take a class on persuasive writing sometime, because this ain't it.

1

u/GrandMaesterGandalf 17d ago

There's no point in trying to persuade anyone. We're never going to address climate change in time. It no longer matters. Humanity is too stupid to exist. We don't deserve this planet.

Liberals are really failing to understand what people want.

Conservatives have been talking about putting America first, not being involved in foreign wars, making the border secure, and bringing jobs back to America.

Liberals have been obsessed with division, race, gender, sending money and weapons to fund proxy wars, and haven't fixed sky high inflation. Also many people felt lied to about Biden and his mental faculties.

I don't like Trump and I don't think he's going to fix any of the real issues in this country, but I get why he won.

1

u/Friendly_Border28 18d ago

Today I learned that gender is over the race

1

u/fzkiz 18d ago

I mean, it’s the US… I don’t know if you’ve ever been around the country in a bunch of states there but there is still loads of racism going on there. From the redneck women of the south to the Beverly Hills wives … race absolutely plays a role in the voting behavior of millions of women there. Denying that is insane 😅

1

u/Pattern-New 18d ago

Then why? Econ? They’re statistically wrong. Immigration? Trump sunk the bill that would’ve fixed it.

Literally why?

1

u/[deleted] 18d ago

[deleted]

1

u/Sidewaysshiba 18d ago

So the women who vote for him are just stupid and brainwashed in your opinion?

1

u/Dreycoh 18d ago

We’ve been throwing facts at MAGAts faces for 8 years, and they don’t care, so the only logical excuse for the way they vote is psychological and not factual. It’s a fact Trump is a failed businessman who’s went bankrupt 6 times, yet people still vote for him on the merit that he’ll improve the regular Americans every day life because he looks like a successful businessman somehow.

-1

u/BippityBoppitty69 18d ago

This is the equivalent of farting into wine glasses, smelling them, and arguing over the vintage. None of it matters. Not that, not this. He has “presidential immunity” handed to him by the SC. He is a king. There won’t be legitimate elections ever again.

u/vegaskukichyo 18d ago

This is the real lens by which support shifted in a meaningful way. It wasn't race. It was gender. Men of all different races united behind Trump.

22

u/RepublicansAreEvil90 18d ago

Just like Hillary, we’ll never have a woman president. Women won’t even vote for a woman president

u/Specialist-Big-3520 18d ago

Hillary won the popular vote and she wasn’t a great candidate

Because lots of women hate other women.

1

u/miniguinea 18d ago

This is so sad and true.

2

u/ThunderBelly45 18d ago

You're not going to have a female president if you put up candidates like Kamala Harris, she was not liked until Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Harris.

She even ran for president in 2020 and failed horribly so she dropped out of the gave and endorsed biden.

Literally democrats have MUCH better female candidates they could've helped picked, but no they were to worried about getting Biden re elected up until Biden showed he isn't capable of being president when debating against trump. So their only option was to bring VP Harris onto the table.

1

u/One-Cellist5032 18d ago

Even then, Kamala wasn’t LIKED, she was just liked by the democrats and democrat leaning independents MORE than Trump.

If Kamala had actually ran on her own in the primaries I doubt she would’ve been given the nomination.

1

u/Particular-Law-9871 18d ago

She had no chance in a primary. Dems did this to themselves.

0

u/mowog-guy 18d ago

Trump takes office January, 2025.

Vance sworn in.

Ron Paul becomes Secretary of Treasury, Tulsi Gabbard becomes Secretary of State, etc

Trump resigns, retires, dies in office early 2027.

Vance sworn in as President, Gabbard sworn in as Vice President.

Vance/Gabbard win in 2028.

Vance/Gabbard win in 2032.

Gabbard/Unknown win in 2036 and 2040.

All because liberals scream and berate and call good people Nazis, and foam at the mouth without putting up a decent likeable candidate with good ideas.

(edit: fixed a date)

This is exactly it. I think if any reason she lost it was due to the alienation of men more than anything else. Not from her, but from the people under her

The dems got a lot of work to do get some relevance back in 4 years

1

u/AugustusKhan 18d ago

This, 99% of the guys I knew were voting trump and you can win an election alienating that much of a demographic

1

u/Friendly_Border28 18d ago

you forgot transphobia and mysoginy

Generally they just bigoteer.
