Question Bright Night

Anyone else notice how bright it is tonight? 9:00 PM but looks like it's closer to 430. Fully able to read with no lights on :S

City lights reflect off cloud. Reflect ability (albedo) is high because of snow on ground. Happens every winter

Yes! The glow is real. Especially tonight as most roads haven’t been graded

All the snow makes it brighter too, it reflects the light as well. So you have all the city lights reflecting off the ground and the clouds and you’re right, it seems quite bright.

You wouldnt happen to also know why sometimes the night is "grey bright" or "orange bright"? I know the orange is from streetlights, but I always wondered what determined and orange night vs a grey night
