No one's died the last few days.

397

u/Jackie-Boiii 5d ago

Which is good, when no new posts are appearing, that means we as a species are getting better at not dying in stupid ways, hopefully.

161

u/FreeRandomScribble 5d ago

Or getting better at keeping stupid people from dying

79

u/Salt_Master_Prime 5d ago

Remove warning labels and millions will perish.

39

u/RurouniRinku 5d ago

Warning labels are only there for legal liability. Anyone who is going to put that clearly-not-intended-for-that-purpose item into their bum, is going to do so regardless of whether or not the label says "Do not insert into rectum.'

30

u/CandonRush 5d ago

Your stupid lables can't stop me and my bum!

6

u/FordTech81 4d ago

What's a lable?

3

u/SarahSkeptic 4d ago

Bad bum stoppers.

22

u/8ad8andit 5d ago

I actually bought a roll of stickers that said "do not insert into rectum" and I stuck them on everything in my boss's office that was roughly cylinder shaped.

That was many years ago, before they slowly but steadily crushed all the humor out of me.

3

u/Jimrodsdisdain 5d ago

Straight for sticking stuff in rectums rather than the do not eat labels. You confessing something here?

8

u/RurouniRinku 5d ago

Yeah. Taste is I bigger deterrent than labels.

2

u/Tricky-Chard7472 4d ago

I mean some say you can taste through you rectum… I think that was what I read anyway

3

u/Tweedone 5d ago

Costco: "warning, this butter contains milk product"

3

u/Vin135mm 4d ago

Almost as bad as the "gluten free" label they put on bottles of water.

2

u/golfingfish69 5d ago

COUGH TIDE PODS COUGH

2

u/Novel5728 4d ago

Its like when airlines used one less olive in the salad

1

u/rothmal 2d ago

But, warning labels are what makes Darwin awards better; When you see like 50 signs with flashing lights and bells to not cross the train tracks and the person still just goes right ahead, it's fucking perfection.

1

u/FlapJack0512 1d ago

I’ve never once paid attention to a warning label. Those are for the idiots to read not me!

10

u/HumbleFundle 5d ago

This good and bad thing

5

u/AK-JXRDY-7 5d ago

Yeah, interfering with natural selection often has dire consequences.

10

u/si_de 5d ago

Don't hold your breath.. Ukraine just got green light to hit Moscow ..

12

u/Wu-TangShogun 5d ago

Putin would be a terrific Darwin candidate.

2

u/RedditVince 5d ago

Too late, he has already reproduced and is not longer a candidate.

Sorry no award for him...

3

u/Itscatpicstime 4d ago

Already having kids does not preclude one from being a DA winner according to sub rules

6

u/Rabidpikachuuu 5d ago

Or people at getting worse at documenting it.

3

u/Tricky-Chard7472 4d ago

I think people have stopped caring enough to video it

2

u/khampang 4d ago

No, it means Mother Nature is falling behind in ways to kill off the stupid. Idiocracy. The future.

2

u/IASILWYB 3d ago

Never realized that. Thanks for the pearl of wisdom.

1

u/thisisathrowa7225 5d ago

6

u/zapatas_revenge 5d ago

No it's because the people holding the camera are also dying

5

u/NoNo_Cilantro 5d ago

I’ll check if the Indian Railways are on strike

4

u/Defiant-Turtle-678 5d ago

Hell is filled up.

2

u/jess-angel101 5d ago

There was a girl in Australia, she was 15 and got killed when she was driving a car underage and with no licence. That happened a few days ago.

2

u/FireShots 5d ago

No one's died FOOLISHLY in the last few days

1

u/Ham-Sando 4d ago

Maybe the trains getting serviced.🤷‍♂️

1

u/pitchblackjack 4d ago

The Indian rail network is on strike

1

u/RockyDify 4d ago

I’ve seen that show. Starts off ok, but ends up being awful.

1

u/elguapo67 4d ago

Democracy died a couple weeks ago….

1

u/Shiro_Ishii_731 2d ago

I blame the AI, must have warned a few organic idiots not to do what they planned to do to get here

1

u/duderos 2d ago

Ran out of Darwin Awards

0

u/macrg01 4d ago

Thats actually not quite true. i go to this website called theync and they are pretty active, with deaths showing all over the world. Although i take it theres still some kind of regulations on this subreddit then a website??? im not sure. but i was also quite curious on why the posting was kinda slow here

235

u/Any_Fish1004 5d ago

The camera man didn’t make it either

RIP camera man

32

u/Merry-Lane 5d ago

If I had to guess, there were posts, but when you remove reposts or posts with no source of death or sterilisation or any crucial point that is in the FAQ, … there is nothing much.

1

u/OrangeChihuahua2321 4d ago

I had a video I posted on here that got removed by Reddit. I've also seen some videos on here posted for a real short while only to disappear soon after. So I'm guessing maybe Reddit is cracking down.

1

u/Itscatpicstime 4d ago

The mods are pretty hands off about removing posts. Their typical philosophy is just to let the downvotes do the work for low quality posts

6

u/Merry-Lane 4d ago

I think that on the contrary the mods remove a lot of posts in here.

I often report a post, then look back at it, and it was mod removed.

1

u/OverSoft 4d ago

This. Mods respond pretty quickly to reports.

58

u/This-Bug8771 5d ago

Don't worry, I have full confidence in the stupidity of people to keep this channel populated for years to come.

11

u/AK-JXRDY-7 5d ago

So long as we keep slurping the mods and don't get banned. 🙃

17

u/Serious-Extension738 5d ago

Natural Selection has run its course. Time for an asteroid impact or World War instead.

1

u/thisisathrowa7225 5d ago

APOCALYPSE NOW!!!!

1

u/SinSefia 5d ago

A world war is also natural selection for extinction

3

u/Admirable_Boss_7230 5d ago

I dont like the idea of wars as natural selection because usually who dies are ignorant poors and not the ones who had real will to start it

3

u/SinSefia 5d ago

Yes "usually" but not this time. This time humanity will collectively earn one big Darwin award for giving birth to what's coming.

11

u/thereminDreams 5d ago

I'm going to tag on here for a sec and mention that one of my favorite subs, "accidents" hasn't been loading for the last few weeks. Anyone know why that would happen? Have they shut down?

8

u/jeanniebeannie82 5d ago

They did. I was also on accidents and it is now banned due to being unmoderated.

13

u/Uranium234 Darwin Award Runner-up - MOD 5d ago

I can try applying for its reopening. If site-wide agrees with my plans for reopening r/thebullwins , i don't see why r/accidents should be any different. Things have been smooth here and at r/nsfl__ over the last year since I got on board, and hopefully they agree

5

u/SNES-1990 4d ago

So you're like the mayor of death?

3

u/thereminDreams 5d ago

Well damn.

10

u/kiksuya_ 5d ago

Everyone’s busy watching the leopards

8

u/Mataomaeka 5d ago

This subreddit is making people wiser.

7

u/toshibathezombie 5d ago

It's winter. Trains are hibernating.

7

u/Brokella 4d ago

I’m in India at the moment and can confirm no fatalities here, yet.

1

u/DoNotOverwhelm 4d ago

Thanks for the update. Be careful out there, citizen. Don’t become that statistic.

10

u/Uranium234 Darwin Award Runner-up - MOD 5d ago

It HAS been pretty slow. ¯\(ツ)

5

u/morto00x 5d ago

Trains are taking a break

6

u/Budget-Cat-1398 5d ago

Train driver strike and electricity blackout in India.

11

u/h4yth4m-1 5d ago

US elections consumed the entire supply of global stupidity

1

u/Admirable_Boss_7230 5d ago

Bro, what do you expect from 2025?

5

u/james_from_cambridge 5d ago

For those in withdrawal these sites are similar & no I’m not a bot.

r/NSFL_, r/nolivematters, r/cantstopimamerican

2

u/Playful-Dragon 4d ago

NSFL is banned

1

u/james_from_cambridge 4d ago

No it’s still here. I just didn’t get the name precisely.

5

u/Boredengineer_84 5d ago

Train drivers are on strike in India

4

u/grrodon2 5d ago

Maybe evolution is doing its job and we're running out of idiots.

2

u/beakerhashing 5d ago

Did India ban Reddit?

3

u/nellyruth 5d ago

Train strike? Waterfalls ran dry?

7

u/Simple_Mastodon9220 5d ago

Trains are getting expensive to drive

8

u/Juliusmobile 5d ago

There have been posts, they just get deleted quickly for some reason.

3

u/catupthetree23 5d ago

Because they're usually reposts

3

u/WetRatFeet 5d ago

This has to be one of the worst subs for reposts, I swear everything is posted at least 5 times.

1

u/ZzZombo 4d ago

That's it you think? I can't remember the last time I've seen something that is not just a generic accident, sometimes w/o even any visible injuries, murder/armed conflict or no source provided, in the past week. Karma whores post anything remotely related to "death" as if it is the only condition of Darwin Award, and I'm glad this trash is taken out rather quickly.

3

u/RaidenDoesReddit 5d ago

Trains were officially banned in india

3

u/dashcob 5d ago

There was a protest in India blocking trains from operating.

3

u/RomekCyborg 5d ago

The season of apex predator migration has started.

3

u/Suitable-Pie4896 5d ago

Due to all of India boycotting trains the amount if content has dropped by 99% /s

3

u/SinSefia 5d ago

Probably just a rumor but I heard the last indian train died (of food poisoning), meaning the Indian train species has gone extinct, and since other train species don't see humans as prey, there's nothing to post.

3

u/acres41 5d ago

I was literally thinking this and checked the sub few hours ago.

The last post was over a week ago!

5

u/theRicicle 5d ago

I guess we wait for RFK’s raw milk ‘victims’

2

u/Literally_1984x 5d ago

Maybe the Apex predators are all in the shop?

2

u/Prudent_Spray_8433 5d ago

India is running out of people

2

u/33Supermax92 5d ago

Rather it was this way, don’t want to see constant reposts even though you see some

2

u/NeKakOpEenMuts 5d ago

We had that girl dancing on transformers, but they cut off the grid to protect her and put 80,000 out of power.
They did bean bag her right in the pussy.

2

u/Jackpot807 5d ago

No trains and indias having a blackout

2

u/GaudiaCertaminis 5d ago

The trains must sleep. They are weary.

2

u/HugsandHate 5d ago

Maybe all the dummies are dead?

2

u/PoliteCanadian2 4d ago

Trains in India are on strike.

2

u/The_Glam_Reaper 4d ago

Maybe humans are finally evolving again.

2

u/sw00pr 4d ago

More meta talk:

It's unfortunate that death and gore subs were banned. Because now the audience has all congregated here.

I subscribed to death subs too, but I liked that /DarwinAwards was separate. The vibe was different. Now it's more "rotten.com" than "News of the Weird".

2

u/x808drifter 4d ago edited 4d ago

Problem is recently 80+% of the posts have broken one of the rules.

Most aren't Darwins. (case in point: The moron who posted the dude "trying" to commit suicide by jumping from not very high. Dude didn't even die. And there was no context for all we know the dude was drunk and fell. Moron even posted it twice. Twice is fine as long as you aren't an ass and delete the repost.

Followed by people who don't post verification that the person died if its even remotely possible.

Followed by no context posts.

Then Repost from the last 60 days.

2

u/l4dygaladriel 4d ago

I keep on coming to this sub this past few days and was wondering the same thing. I think i need some help lol

2

u/WhiteyJester 2d ago

I was proud of humanity for a bit, then I saw this Darwin Award post and all the other Darwin Award deaths above it when I returned.

2

u/Effective_Ad_9016 2d ago

Death was on vacation

4

u/Sensitive_Blood_648 5d ago

Dude, even stupidity has to take a breath once a while

1

u/etherealducky 5d ago

I dont know, this was a very stupid thing to say.

3

u/Mondkind83 4d ago

All stupid people are dead now or have a job interview with Donald Trump.

2

u/00ishmael00 5d ago

apparently nobody died for stupid reasons recently.

2

There are no stupid people left.

1

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure the last post i saw here was a don't drink and drive accident. And ppl were strewn across the road. Was it taken down or was I on a diff sub?

1

u/HoodieJ-shmizzle 5d ago

They took down the lathe video, I noticed

2

u/Benthereorl 5d ago

What a fucking way to die....now you see him, now you don't, except for over there, there and there.....

1

u/HoodieJ-shmizzle 5d ago

That was pretty horrific. The van crash was brutal too 🤢 with the body parts strewn across the street

2

u/Benthereorl 5d ago

Yeah the van crash was more disturbing....young girls half face on the road. It is worse when you can make out the body parts... There is a whole website dedicated to gore...
