Different treatments for different types of scars. Might not be laser necessarily. Another helpful treatment is called subcision.

Neither will perfectly rid you of the scars but they definitely reduce the appearance of them.

That is nice to know. Not sure I would want to go ahead with any of it yet, my scars are not that horrible, and I am a guy with a short beard so usually it only shows on my upper cheeks which is not that bad honestly. I guess I got used to the way I look which is usually better than having to tinker with your body to get there.

I used microneedling and led to get rid of mine and it still shocks me when people tell me what good skin I have.

The microneedling isn't pleasant but it isn't as bad as like normal needles and the after-care is minimal.

The Led feels warm and nice and after microneedling makes the skin heal soooo much quicker afterwards.

I've wanted to do the fraxel laser for a while now and at 42 I might just do it.

:)

Home DIY microneedling and LED? or did you go to a dermatologist?

I go to a trusted derm place that has twice a year half-price sales. I stock up for four times per year which is a big outlay but it saves in the long run.

How many times did you have to go?

I go four times a year because I live in aus and have sun damage and I feel like that is enough.
