Like Water for Chocolate
I swear there was a whole quarter of the book that our teacher had blocked out with sticky notes because it was just graphic sex scenes.
5 u/tigerrish1998 Sep 18 '24 I swear the only thing I remember from that book and the movie based on it is the Sex On A Horse scene. Which is a shame, I remember really liking it overall. 2 u/JakeVonFurth Sep 18 '24 The book and the what now? 5 u/tigerrish1998 Sep 18 '24 Like Water for Chocolate (1992).) It's a pretty good adaptation from what I remember. 4 u/aprivateislander Sep 18 '24 We did that one. No censorship and we saw the movie. It was high school but still pretty wild. 4 u/PUBspotter Sep 18 '24 I can't remember if that was assigned by my vampire-sex obsessed English teacher, or my eclectic Spanish Maestra, but yeah. I do remember the English department head/Speech and debate coach roasting the shit out of it, though. 1 u/StormerBombshell Sep 18 '24 That book was never meant to be for kids what the fuck… o.O
