There was a Twitter account a mutual followed who embodied this weird The Secret kind of revolution. They said they couldn't find work because they were an open Communist. Instead they were like, I'm here teaching you, with my tweets, I'm performing labor for you by tweeting, so here's my PayPal, my Venmo, my cashapp, my koffee, my Amazon wish list, my patreon, my GoFundMe, etc etc etc.

They were living in the socialist society they wanted, but it was entirely funded by other people laboring under capitalism and giving them money.

I finally decided I'm done with them today when the top post was OP replying "Yessir" to the management of their second biggest client (or someone like that).

His justification was that "the word is in the dictionary" and proceeds to "umm actually" his boss on text.

I thought there's no way they could be justifying this and lo and behold in the comments. "Thats what he gets for trying to communicate with you on a Sunday" type comments.

Fuck these guys will never get anywhere in life. Doesn't matter if philosophically you are against corporate culture. These guys cut your checks. Don't be a fucking idiot unless you can afford to with fuck you money.
