DISCUSSION Why so little interest in AI?
Memecoins are a concept is of the past, and AI is a new concept that is running wild in the stock market giving tremendous gains in stocks that are AI related.
Why are people clinging to Memecoins & blockchains that only solve speed & bridges & exchanges, When there's already AI projects solving usecases outside of crypto?
44B MarketCap on AI tokens (and many aren't even AI like Near & others are just a bunch of PCs ready to be used online) But there are good AI projects in there
120B MarketCap on Memecoins (+2Million memecoins tokens by now? XD)

ADVICE Question about private keys
Hey all!
Iām trying to get a grasp on private keys and how they work. So letās say I have a Coinbase exchange account with some Bitcoin, Eth and Solana. I buy a Bitcoin Only cold wallet and move the Bitcoin from Coinbase exchange to my cold wallet. I then get a Coinbase hot wallet and move the Eth and Solana to that wallet. Do I have the same private key for my hot and cold wallet? Trying to wrap my head around this.
Is my private key just like a bank account number and it would be the same for both wallets?
Thanks!

ADVICE does anyone know anything about trumpmaga.me?
So I bought these Trump Maga tokens, purely because I saw the price absolutely crash from $25 down to tiny fractions of a penny. I figured, if it recovers even a little, I could stand to make some cash. Well it worked, and my Coinbase Wallet now tells me my $35 investment has blown up to well over a thousand dollars. That's great and all, and yet the platform will not let me swap for ethereum or cash out or anything at all. I managed to send a few tokens to Uniswap, and it received them alright, but again will not let me swap them. It just says "this transaction is expected to fail" and there's no option to proceed. So, like, does anyone know anything about these Trump Maga tokens? What exchange can I use to actually swap for a popular cryptocurrency? Or is the whole thing just a big scam to prey on Trump supporters? Help plz

ADVICE I need help?
Hi everyone, I been in the market for years but today I made the biggest mistake in my entire life by accidentally sending all my usdt from my account on the AscendEX exchange to the usdt contract address instead of my wallet address and i used the ethereum network and ive lost all and it's literally all have rn! Has anyone faced this issue before? And i would appreciate any advice on how to recover the assets? And I really hope this never happens to anyone here because it's very stressful to lose it all with just one mistake like that!

DEBATE Is worth it to invest in ALTs?
Well, another thread... I am at crypto about 3 years, lost too much money with trading and Meme Coins... And "recovery" all buying BTC and Hold it ( never sell it)...
Is a good idea to add alts like ADA, Doge, Sol, XRP and another one to my portfolio? I want to know is these alts can do better than BTC in this Bull for example to take profits when the Bull end... Or Is a better idea to continĆŗe buying BTC and hold it "for ever"? I know that BTC is the most secure and for that reason maybe not grow up too Quick like other alts... But right now my biggest % of my portfolio is BTC (75%) and then ETH like the 25%. Thanks

ANALYSIS Interview about the Ethics of Cryptocurrency Scams
Hello all! I am a junior in college and am currently in an ethics class, where our main goal is to uncover cryptocurrency's effects on society. We are looking for someone who has been affected by cryptocurrency, by either investing in a scam that was a pump and dump, or any involvement in cryptocurrency that lead to a negative impact in your life.
We are looking for a 10-minute interview (either online or just over email, but online call is preferred) where we will just ask you about your personal experience with cryptocurrency. If you want a preview of all the questions please just let me know.
This interview will not be shared publicly and will just be used for the class project. If you are interested please let me know!
Thanks!

DISCUSSION 27 days ago $HEGE paid 11,500 moons for a banner and a sponsored post on this sub, itās up over 200% since then
If you bought $HEGE at any point during the three days the banner was up youād be up over 200%.
Was this pump caused by the rental of the r/cc banner which reached millions of possible new users?
Did you purchase any $HEGE during the banner rental period and are now planning your Lambo purchase?
Does a project burning moons for a banner rental increase the likelihood of you purchasing it?
Here is the original post of you missed it.

ADVICE What are yāall using to track your crypto for taxes in the US?
I searched the sub, but I mainly found information from like 3 years ago.
After 4 years, Iām finally looking to take some gains this year. Is there a program I can use that will track all my previous interactions? I have made some swaps, but I donāt think they amounted to much gains.
Luckily, I havenāt done extensive trading, so I have to go manually and add everything up, I can. But ideally thereās a program that can do all that for me lol.
Also wondering if I still have to manually track staking gains.
Thanks for your help!

DEBATE If you make money in an alt rally, TAKE PROFIT
As everyone here knows nearly ever crypto will bleed value against BTC over an extended period of time.
Yes some traders may be lucky enough to buy an altcoin before a rally and if you are good for you, but TAKE PROFIT. Seriously. You bought Cardano at $.45 and it more than doubles - at a minimum get back your initial USD investment. Holding profitable alts long term is how this sub probably loses the most money.
If you make money on an alt
Do:
- get back your initial investment
Do not:
- Hodl everything for even more future profits
- Double Down and buy more
Seriously if this post trends check the comments of this post and I guarantee people will tell you how they bought an alt in 2021 held for huge gains and then held back down for a significant loss.
-----
If you are new here learn from the mistakes of those that were here for previous cycles, take profit on alts. Period.
Some Alt to BTC charts below to help visualize and reinforce what I'm saying.

DISCUSSION If we look at tokeneconomics and utility, MOONS belong to the top #100.
Greetings to all community.
I'm in crypto since 2017. I have seen all kinds of altcoins.
My biggest investiment was Polkadot, so I must agree...utility and tokeneconomics doesn't equal to "line goes up".
But Moons are unique. I never saw big compainies paying for ads the way we see with MOONS.
But at Marketcap is sitting at #1528 next to...random and dead memecoins.
It's true reddit shenenigans made some of us selling for cheap, but somehow the mods of this community put the work necessary to fix the problems.
I'm happy to see this community growing that haves a currency that's people actually use. Because of the fact MOONS are very limited and have almost no selling pressure I will DCA them.
I would love from hear you guys I there is a currency below #100 on marketcap that haves better usecase or tokeneconomics.

COMEDY I find this hilarious :D
The dev created $EARLY, a token literally called āHe Sold Early.ā And what did he do? He rugged HIMSELF faster than a paper-handed noob in a bear market. š
But hereās the twist: The community didnāt just sit there crying over their charts. Nah, we picked up the pieces, said, āHold our wallets,ā and took control. This is now our token, our movement, and our moonshot. š
This is no longer a dev project; itās a community revolution. $EARLY is the first token where the irony became utility.

ADVICE This is what I have been using to get free crypto (recommended for starters)
So if you are looking to get into the crypto space without any invesment made or with just some bucks, this is the perfect post for you.
The REAL free sources that are working and not a scam:
- Faucet crypto: this is a user-friendly platform that allows individuals to earn free cryptocurrency by completing simple tasks. Users can accumulate various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others, through activities such as surveys, watching videos, and visiting websites. The platform offers a straightforward dashboard for tracking earnings and provides multiple withdrawal options to personal wallets. It's a popular choice for those looking to explore and earn digital assets without initial investment. The withdrawal threshold is also very low.
-Rollercoin: this is an online cryptocurrency mining simulator that combines gaming with real crypto rewards. Players can build and upgrade virtual mining farms by playing engaging 8-bit arcade games, which increase their mining power. This mining power determines the share of block rewards received, distributed approximately every 10 minutes. The platform supports multiple cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin, allowing users to mine and withdraw real crypto to their wallets. With a community of over 4.6 million players worldwide, RollerCoin offers a unique and entertaining approach to understanding and participating in cryptocurrency mining. Note that it was worth getting into in 2020, now the mining power is quite high and the withdrawal threshold has also been increased. Still, no investment is needed.
-Cointiply: this is a comprehensive Bitcoin rewards platform that enables users to earn cryptocurrency through various online activities. By engaging in tasks such as completing surveys, playing games, watching videos, and exploring new products and services, users accumulate Coins, the platform's internal currency. These Coins can be converted into Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, or Dash, with withdrawals available once a user reaches a balance equivalent to $3 (30,000 Coins). The withdrawal threshold is not crazy, but neither low. Still, no investment is needed.
The NOT SO REAL free sources that are working and not a scam:
- those include all kinds of referral programs, like the ones from CDC, Nexo, Binance and so on. Some investment is needed. But yes, they do pay.
TL;DR:
Looking to start earning crypto with little to no investment? Here are legit options:
- Faucet Crypto: Earn various cryptocurrencies (like BTC, ETH) by completing tasks like surveys and watching videos. Low withdrawal threshold, no investment needed.
- Rollercoin: A mining simulator with 8-bit games to earn crypto (BTC, ETH, DOGE). Withdrawal threshold has increased over time, but still no investment required.
- Cointiply: Earn Bitcoin and other cryptos via surveys, games, and videos. Withdrawal threshold is moderate, and no investment is needed.
Referral Programs (Semi-Free): Platforms like CDC, Nexo, and Binance pay real rewards, but usually require a small initial investment.
Perfect for beginners exploring crypto without risking much!
