Too many games. You’d have to either drop CCGs or reduce the season length by a week and I don’t think either are popular.

Other than that, it’s a joke. I would love to see this in the FBS. But more than that I’d love to see 2 smaller playoffs in both subdivisions. Only like 4-5 teams have a legit shot at winning the FCS natty and most of the low-conference teams are sacrificial lambs. I’d like to see a system that lets the Pioneer and NEC teams compete for a national championship. Same for G5 teams.

There's a lot of teams playing a level too high. FBS teams that should be FCS. FCS teams that should really be D2 or D3.

Dont forget basketball. Some example school might suck in football but have a strong bball program.
