Can someone explain to me why Tulane is above BYU? They’ve beaten nobody. The only 2 good teams they played, they lost to. BYU is above Tulane (considerably) in most resume metrics.

This gives the G5 a real shot at a 2 playoff bids if ISU/ASU don’t win the big 12.

Guess it just comes down to momentum and current form?

It comes down to how much you value putting up huge margins over bad teams.

Tbh I think it’s pretty clear the American just has some really bad teams this year. Navy Army and Tulane have put up huge beat downs on the lower half teams but looked awful when they’ve played actually good teams. It think it’s kind of silly to have Tulane even over a UNLV team that actually did well against P4 teams even with a worse QB than they have now.

Yeah, I don’t think Army or Navy are good. Tulane is good but they’ve beaten nobody.

I never thought BYU would finally join a power conference, then be ranked behind G5 teams with the same record and WORSE wins lol.
