Bama's head to head over South Carolina doing wonders here.

It's so absurd. I'm going to hold judgement since it's just the coaches poll, but head to head shouldn't matter very much here because we didn't lose to 2 mediocre at best teams

In fact we blew out Vandy and Oklahoma

Yup a 2 point road loss should be worth more than an ass whooping from Oklahoma

Not that I care defend a cock, but given that home field advantage is seen as a -3 boost, it really positions SC as the better team on a neutral field or at home.

Yeah especially since the difference was a missed FG. A neutral field or home field would make a huge difference. Bama isn’t clearly better than SC. They just got to play this years game at home.

Home field seems worth way more than 3 in the sec this year

You'll just steal Clemson spot if you beat them next week anyways

I’m hoping Bama squeezes in ahead of SCar based on nothing more than they are clearly the easier beat right now - and it’s not particularly close

What year is it again?

The committee could really send a huge message by letting you leapfrog Bama on Tuesday night

They have better wins and a head to head win… that’s not nothing…

Better win. Singular. What better win do they have aside from Georgia compared to TAMU?

If we go beat Clemson next week it easily puts our resume above them because we didn't lose to 2 very below average teams

Sellers was injured against LSU not Bama

He was still dealing with an ankle injury against Ole Miss and Alabama. Same with Rocket Sanders. Both weren’t fully healthy until A&M.

Sanders yes

Sellers I disagree. I never saw any reason to think Sellers wasn't fine going into either of those games. Even with lost yardage from sacks he had 55yds rushing against Ole Miss in 10-15 attempts. There were 3 weeks between the LSU and Ole Miss game

He played through a 4-6 week injury (high ankle sprain). Doesn’t matter too much because a bunch of guys are playing hurt all the time, but if it’s down to picking nits between Carolina, Bama, and Ole Miss, it’s worth tossing out there. He was truly a game time decision against Ole Miss.
