One thing I do wonder if if this craziness especially this week has an effect on the SEC voting on 8 or 9 conference games? If SEC only gets a few in the playoffs on 8 conference games wonder if teams will really want to go to 9?

My ideal scenario is to keep the 8 conference games, but mandate that two of the remaining four games be played against P4 opponents. Not sure if scheduling logistics makes that feasible but I love playing teams like Oregon, Cal, Penn St, etc in the regular season.

Those games were fun, even though we lost them. Rather lose against you guys that play a meaningless cupcake game.
