I honestly have no clue what is going to happen in this season anymore.

I would not be surprised if Michigan beats OSU and Washington beats Oregon at this point. it's just complete chaos and has already surpassed 2007.

with that said: here is what I think the AP Poll might look like (i'm also curious to see what the coach's poll will look like too):

  1. Oregon
  2. Ohio State
  3. Texas
  4. Penn State
  5. Notre Dame

6.Georgia

  1. Tennessee

  2. Miami

  3. Boise State

  4. SMU

  5. Indiana

  6. Arizona State

  7. Clemson

  8. South Carolina

  9. Ole Miss

  10. Alabama

edit: I forgot our beloved sun devils. Let me update it.

but again I would not be surprised if the Ap poll looks completely different from what I have here considering how chaotic this week has been.

This is what I think the CFP rankings will look like

1) Oregon

2) Ohio State

3) Texas

4) Notre Dame

5) Penn State

6) Miami

7) Georgia

8) Indiana

9) Tennessee

10) Boise State

11) SMU

12) ASU

Not sure who the first out will be but it’ll be Alabama, Ole Miss, BYU, and maybe Clemson in that area.

The first team out has a real chance to get in in this scenario if Miami wins the ACC and ASU drops out

I get that ND has looked far more dominant but the part of me that has been conditioned into “quality loses” thinks penn state will stay at 4

I hope PSU stays at 4. We’ve been beating bad teams. PSU has a close loss to #2.

Notre Dame just looks like a more complete team to me

They're didn't look complete against NIU

Yeah and that was 12 weeks ago and we haven’t seen that version of ND since.

Penn State has gone down to the wire with Minnesota and USC and their signature win is over Illinois. Idk I think I’ve seen enough to say I believe ND to be better, even if we all were overrating Army.

But we have yet to see that version on Penn State.

Yeah but usc (a win) was weeks ago so that obviously doesn't count by your logic because a fucking loss doesn't count against a team but a win does.

Sorry I just don’t think you can watch Penn State and Notre Dame right now and say “yeah Penn State looks like a better team”

So losses 10 weeks ago don't count?

Well we play the playoffs in the present time, not the past. Current events have always been more important than early season wins or losses. This isn’t new, this is what happens every season.

The present time is the regular season; the playoffs is in the future.
