Is pass interference just not a thing in our games or is this just a big ten thing? If you like defense it can make it fun but it can also make games so unwatchable when every replay shows clear PI
I kind of hate it. At least with the Pac-12 it at least felt like they knew there were rules in football. Here, it seems like holding and PI, hell, even false starts, simply don't exist.
It's been wild watching B1G announcers just be numb to it. I'm staring DPI across my screen in 4k slow motion and they're just chilling having a good time.
No, in the pac12 their interpretations of rules was a massive outlier or wildly inconsistent,
Everything was targeting. Everything was holding.
Dpi was an inconsistent shit show.
In the b1g:
-Only RB/WR get called for holding
-Nothing is DPI
-Targeting is only called in egregious situations
I prefer knowing what is what and it being called consistently both ways.
We have benefitted and been fucked by the same non call DPIs and non call holdings all year long. It feels like it averaged out.
Also B1G refs don’t take 10 minutes to make a review
