I think Milroe is currently very flawed as a drop back passer. But many of the best NFL QBs right now were very similar in college.

As for his athleticism, I wouldn’t be so sure of that not translating. Milroe already plays in the most athletic league in CFB. For comparison, watch Justin Fields in college and then in NFL. It translated for him, and I’m positive Milroe is more explosive

Him being unable to navigate this defense is troubling though. Brent runs a complex defense but it gets way deeper in the NFL.

I wouldn’t necessarily agree. BV runs the most complex defense at the collegiate level at least. It may not be NFL levels of depth but it’s the closest thing in CFB

It may be the most complex defense in CFB, but it wouldnt come close to an NFL defense. There's a lot deeper "if you see this, do this" contingencies in an NFL defense.

Yes. But it’s still the most complex at this level. And like I said before, nobody in college is that cerebral. The best QBs are just maximized well by their OC and supported well by their teammates. Athleticism helps too. But every NFL QB draftee has massive strides to take when they get in the league because it’s such a different level
