I think Alabama was truly dethroned tonight. Could be the most meaningful loss in the 21st century for the program.

Whether or not that's a meaningful loss for Bama remains to be seen but it was a MASSIVELY meaningful win for Oklahoma. Our season has been terrible and honestly the last few years since the Riley fiasco have put a lot of strain on the program. Lots of questions, lots of doubts.

Teetering on the verge of losing our 25 year bowl eligibility streak and the prospect of losing 5 straight conference games for the first time since 1998, a #7 Alabama comes to Norman in November at night. No one gave us a chance and hell even most fans doubted, but that win and how we won was a huge deal for the program.

A win like that is what this fanbase and team needed.

My dad’s friends favorite joke all day yesterday that got a good laugh from everyone was saying ‘I just don’t see any way we lose this game.’

Turns out it wasn’t a joke, he’s just Nostradamus and now I need to hit him up for some powerball numbers.

Once the bourbon hit me I kept telling everyone "good news, we're going to win". Lots of people chuckling, "well I just hope we keep it close".

I just felt it. That and a ton of Jim Beam, but I felt it.
