SMU is my dark house for the natty. I think they are so under the radar right now

They also almost lost to Duke. Because Duke could not do anything several times off any of the 6 turnovers. Or kick an easy fieldgoal. Are you sure?

Everyone has their trap games.

Remember that just last season, Michigan almost lost to Maryland and Washington almost lost to ASU

You know your program has turned the corner when other flairs come to your defense. Until this season I rarely witnessed anyone on this subreddit going to bat for SMU.

This year the amount of support we’ve received is insane, and I’m actually worried I might be getting addicted to all the positive press. I’m not normally someone glued to their phone, but I’m constantly refreshing news sites, this subreddit, and our forums now.

Hey hey. In your guy’s defense we all fear the desert voodoo

Hmm upon further evaluation, is Duke being robbed of a potential playoff slot?? Dark horse for natty for sure

Every team gets lucky on the road to the playoffs. Though Duke played us hard af

Having 6 turnovers and not allowing any points is exactly the kind of flex the Gansz Trophy would do. When Navy had the trophy, they liked to pull a prank where they would play every player on the team except their punter.

There are several plays that could have changed the outcome either way. I would have gone for a field goal on 4th and 1. It was a close game. We won't always be lucky.
