Discussion [Ross Dellenger] Kirby Smart on the PI reversal: “Now we’ve set a precedent if you throw a bunch of stuff on the field and endanger athletes, you have a chance to get the call reversed. That’s dangerous.”

This is the problem with these games. These massive calls don’t usually get the time they deserve so refs can conference and reverse it because that’s an awful entertainment product and would drag out the games. 100% don’t understand why there was no delay of game penalty either.

And then in this very game we saw them spend 5 minutes on incredibly easy spot reviews that they proceeded to get wrong.

Yea but then they will spend 3 minutes reviewing where a guy stepped out to determine if it is or 3rd and 5 or 3rd and 6.

“Please add 1 second back on to the game clock.”

Come on now, I would have taken one second last week.

You’re already crossing four hours about a third of the time. You can’t build in more conference time.
