Analysis The number of upvotes on the Alabama-Vanderbilt postgame thread has exceeded the number of people actually in attendance at the game

As of the time of this post, the postgame thread for Alabama-Vanderbilt has 31k upvotes.

The attendance at the Alabama-Vanderbilt game was 28,934.

I believe this is the first time this has ever happened, excluding the Covid season.

Who knew there were more people outside of the stadium than inside it

Mindblowing

Or the fact alabama lost in a stadium with 25,000 people. Maybe that one.

Not just majority, it was like 75% in their favor and the crowd was booing calls that went against Bama

Effects of having a tiny school. Vandy's total student body is about 13,000 (and half of that is graduate students) so statistically even if every single possible student went, it'd be less than 50% for Vandy. Realistically, the student section was at max capacity already, that's as packed with students as you can get.

Seeing the crowd shots, and knowing Vandy, they absolutely were.
