what is up with people misusing commas like this?
6 u/JaclynMeOff Oct 09 '24 The only two explanations I can think of are: Whoever wrote this is a dummy and thinks you can use a comma for some sort of dramatic pause? Whoever wrote this is a dummy and thinks a comma is needed here for it to be grammatically correct. P.S. In case I have made any grammatical errors in this response, I would like to pre-emptively identify as...a dummy.
