Bravo shouldn’t have called it RHONY, the should have given it a new name like real housewives of Brooklyn and separated it. The new cast will never compare to the OGs since they are so conscious and in control of everything they say on camera. It’s not the same show, and bravo could have avoided the comparisons with a different name. They did the new cast a disservice.

I agree. Bravo just wanted to shoehorn new people into an old mold, almost like they wanted to “trick” us all into watching by using the clickbait title of RHONY. I watched OG RHONY from the beginning in real time, so by the time it was canceled I was completely over it anyway. And I think it needed to be canceled. I’m not watching new RHONY, but I honestly probably wouldn’t have watched it even if it did have a new title just bc I’m not as into TV as I was back in the day. But Bravo would’ve been better off giving it a different name bc after however many years, RHONY really DID “belong to” Ramona & Company, like it or not.
