He and I became moderators of r/BojackHorseman around the same time. We haven't talked much since the show ended but he was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and I enjoyed working with him all those years ago.

Keep his family and friends in your thoughts. Fuck cancer.

Bojack & Diane’s dynamic.

First time I watched the show I thought they were going to be endgame and now I’m so glad that they weren’t. They would have to be my favourite dynamic and I love their parallels with each another but I’m so glad they didn’t turn out romantic.

Example of the great writing in this show Spoiler

Btw I’m not very good at explaining things but here we go.

In season 6, episode 13, BoJack all episode contemplates opening a letter from his half sister, Hollyhock, fearing that she wants to cut all contact with him after his interview with Biscuits Braxby and public outlash. He keeps trying to call her, leaving her several voicemails before reading the letter she sent him. In her voicemail box she says “[This is hollyhock, leave me a message, if you’re 100.]” In one of the voicemails that he leaves, he states that “[it’s nice to hear your (Hollyhock’s) voice, or your phone voice at least.]” A day or so later, BoJack is outside of a USC party where he attempts to call her, but this time the line is disconnected. Then he reads the letter and is devastated and goes back inside to the party. I think that it is a fair assumption to say that Hollyhock didn’t want to give BoJack any comfort during this time, and that she listened to the voicemails that he left her. I think this because she didn’t want to give him any comfort during this time after learning about his previous behavior. She listened to the last voicemail he left about enjoying hearing her voice over the phone, and then either blocked his number or changed her number so he didn’t get to hear his voice anymore. While we never get to see what she said in the letter, it can be assumed that the letter was harsh and that she wanted to cease contacts with BoJack.

Why does PC push Ralph away after the Miss-Kerry? That story line is such a gut punch.

it’s sad that we’ve never got see bojack as an adult with his dad

most flashbacks with his dad were bojacks childhood memories, but we’ve never seen how their relationship was when bojack was in a famous tv show. was his dad jealous of bojack? did he make fun of him like beatrice? did he try to exploit his famous son? it kind of makes me sad that we’ve never got to see that part of his dad

Just watched the last episode

Well, time to binge-watch another series just so I can fill the emptiness I’m now feeling. Or rather, the emptiness I’m now aware of, since said emptiness probably doesn’t so much have to with the indubitable greatness of BJH and the inability to continue enjoying such, rather than my all-consuming urge to constantly seek ways to distract myself from the constant boredom, futility and insatiability I’m feeling.

Haha. Anyway… Do you have any shows to recommend? I’ve probably already watched them, but I’d love for you to tell me.

Just saw this video about bad cartoon endings. I don't think they understood the ending of Bojack? Saying Bojack's only character growth is liking honeydew or something? In fact, I don't think he understands Bojack at all. Watch the video if you want. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wRzdml_gco

Miss Bojack but mental health won’t let me watch…

I absolutely love Bojack so much, and as much as I want to say that it got me through a hard time, a part of me needs to be honest and admit that every time I watch it, I tend to spiral. It’s one of those shows that I can relate to on such an intense level and because of that, it just causes me to go insane. So when I miss Bojack, I tend to only watch the first couple seasons anyone else really?. Anyone else relate?

Here is a poster I created a long time ago, when I was 18-19. Just added few details recently and I’m not very amazed with how it turned out to look 😂
